That a MMIC circuit
MMIC = Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit

I personally have not worked with MMIC circuit but I have designed many PCB printed circuit boards.

Difference is mainly that MMIC's are designed for high frequencies in such a way that you avoid resonations. If you design the circuit board in classic way the resonance can melt away the component bindings (tin). We have seen cases that Microchips get so hot due to resonation that it falls of a circuit board.

In MMIC the components are integrated into one monolithic board

IR image quality looks excellent.

There were reports a couple months ago that we are procuring DIRCM from Leonardo. What happened to that? Our AWACS, Tanker and A400M are all flying completly unprotected.

TUSAS is integrating DIRCM to German A400M' but our own A400M are flying naked. Bizarre.

qa bit lazy to put photo inside google lens , can u guys share specs or anything on the radars in the first line and is that cenk s in second line ?? any info on that aesa seeker , looks like swash plate steerable for greater azimuth , @Cabatli_53 @Huelague , others ??

Following the embargoes on optical systems, Aselsan has been busy! The new ASELFLIR-600 is coming with much improved clarity and range with better laser targeting than current CATS.
With the improvements currently made on CATS, it was made possible for it to illuminate targets from 20km and successfully hit it from distances further than before with weapons like TRG-230, MAM-L and MAM-T.
Then the work being carried out on Aselflir-F500C with much improved capabilities came. This were to improve current CATS capabilities further for TB2 and Anka and be lighter.
Now Aselflir-600 will be the culmination of these technologies to provide the larger UCAVs like Akinci and Aksungur with much better optical means to perform their duties. To this end a contract is to be signed between Aselsan and SSB, Mr I Demir has stated.


CATS on Akinci UCAV.

Aselflir-F500C 15" gimbal 15µ 1280*1024 HD MWIR+10µ 1280*1024 HD SWIR+1920*1080 FHD day cam, similar laser designator performance vs CATS.
Aselflir-600 22" gimbal 15µ 1280*1024 HD MWIR+10µ 1280*1024 HD SWIR+1920*1080 FHD day cam, better laser designator performance with longer range, more power output, and less dispersion/scatter on the target. Aselflir-600 is designed to be a long-range high-altitude EO targeting solution.

Both F500C and 600 will use linear motors for the internal axes and direct drive for the outer axis.

We havnt heard since while from aselsan about the ir detectors development .. they were supposed to finish some very critical projects last year and in this year
