My money is on: it will be ignored. MB shouldn't play any role in any of our foreign policy.

I don't think it is about MB, I think it is more about SISI acting like a butcher with impunity. It is hard for decent democratic countries with integrity to put up with this kind of people.

But I get it, realpolitik says there is not much to do about it except to move along.

Armenia, despite Moscow’s stern warning, continues the “diversification game” in the military and security spheres. Greek Minister of National Defense Nikolaos Dendias visited Yerevan.
Dendias said that Greece sees itself as a country that will help Armenia as much as possible, taking into account historical ties, and also because these are very close countries. “We really want to do this,”
ANikolaos Dendias stated: “We have created a successful trilateral defense cooperation between Armenia, Greece and Cyprus. But there could be other trilateral or quadrilateral relations with France and India – with important countries, important powers, very powerful mutual friends of Armenia and Greece.”

@Ryder

The greeks have no intention of doing any fighting themselves as seen with armenia and libya recently, even the war in 1974 when greece itself collapsed. They are hoping that they will get their new allies who racially they despise to do the fighting for them. Remember these were the guys who begged Rome/Pope to start the crusades against the Turks. Its what they have always done, go round begging and hoping that others will fight their battles for them. In reality the outsiders just end up using them in their own geopolitical ambitions. But thats what they are, they won't change.

One thing that last ten years really reinforced for me, is that what really matters is having the balls and the power to fight. The rest is just piss in the wind, or games to trick yourself into a false sense of security.

As long as Russian troops are on Armenian soil there is no way to diversify. The westerners are fooling them, deceiving them. Hoping that yet again they overextend so that Armenia is annexed by Russia. An annexed Armenia by Russia is better for euro origin destabilsing games then an armenia at peace with Turkey/Azerbaijan.

We see this in Syria, where when push came to shove and the americans realised they couldnt stop us from moving into Syria/PKK positions, they instead handed those regions over to Russia, so they could still be used against us.

Armenian doesn't seem to produce any notable statesman, so i fully expect them to make the mistake of crossing that line. I just wish us Turks could use these regional fools the way the rest of the world does, instead of the world constantly using them against us. These people politically surrounding us are some of dumbest you will find in the world, how were not able to exploit that stupidity is absolute insanity.

Officially state department always had the same position, iirc. It is just some US politicians who were making a fuss for whatever reasons.

Yup. Nothing has changed, though Greeks tried so hard and spent presumably millions to enact a change on actual policy. This doesn't mean anything on the ground, but is a confirmation of the failure of the Greek diplomacy in regards to territorial waters, airspace and EEZ in the region. They did manage to have plenty of other wins tho.

3 days ago, official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova came out to journalists with a badge presented to her by Azerbaijani youth, a symbol of the Victory of the Azerbaijani army in the Karabakh war.
This was probably the last nail driven into the coffin of the Russian-Armenian union... :)

Today, Armenia officially demanded that Moscow withdraw Russian border guards from Iravan airport.

Very difficult situation to sort out.

We should be limiting Russian influence while encouraging good relations between Gagauzia and Moldova. Asking Russia for help in these times is not bringing anything good for the image of Gagauzia. They should exclusively search for Turkish support and if they need something from Moldova that they can not achieve trough a direct talks they should ask us to broker a solution that will be respected by both Moldova and Gagauzia. This way Gagauzia will align with the Turkish position regarding the whole Russia-Ukraine issue which is neutral/passive support for Ukraine with the luxury of remaining totally neutral, cooperating with Moldova with gains brought by Turkish brokering and guarantees. The situation in Gagauzia is very hard and by the looks not very bright. A pro-Russian regional government in a pro-EU country, asking for help Russia with no direct connection to Russia. This is asking for trouble. They should stop flying in the skies, step firmly on the ground, reinforce their autonomy and start support for the EU integration. There is no better option for them right now.

While Turkiye works day and night on reverting the results of Russian influence in Central Asia, the Gagauz people are deepening relationship with Russia. I know Russian influence is deeply rooted, but we should do something more about it. I think it is time for a new political party in Gagauzia...

"Margarita Simonyan, the editor-in-chief of Russian state-controlled broadcaster RT and one of the most prominent faces of pro-Kremlin propaganda called Armenia's PM Pashinyan "a traitor to the Armenian people," who was "steering the nation towards ruin". She warned, "If the Armenian people persist in supporting him, there will be no Armenia in five years' time, just as there's no Karabakh in the form that the Armenian people desire."

As much as she's that got typical Russian cultural fanaticism for violence and tyranny, she's right, the russians will annex them if Armenia thinks she can stay enemies with Turkey/Azerbaijan while trying to suck of a new daddy in the west.

Only way Armenia can seperate from Russia in the mid term is to stop the hostility against Turkey/Azerbaijan and make peace. Then build security ties with Turkey/Azerbaijan and then if she wants to kick the Russians out she can.

Its so obvious the trap the westerners are setting the armenians up for. Armenians dont learn from their failed history. Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Just like we couldnt allow Russia to annex Ukraine, we cannot allow them to annex Armenia, Turkey/Azerbaijan must have plans for if that day comes that the Russian thugs attempt another violent invasion.
