Too much unit-task force, short project, short decision...
We had our legal and big stick organization called police...their eyes, their stuff, their bullets are everywhere but yeah law enforcement has fallen
If the state can't be there to provide citizen security, at the extreme it might be changing the law so that everyone can take action to enforce I guess

The unit or task force would not gonna be permanent like Densus 88, but ad hoc or as needed basis. That’s the best solution if we want the practice of good governance, not vigilantism as solution.

The task of the unit is always limited in resources, even though the complete resources in terms of procedures, legal law and measurable actions are all in the institution called the police.
Why create a new unit that has the potential to overlap with existing units and enter the criminal causal or criminal offense?

I honestly think this country just too big to handle, logistically (fiscally) too overstretched. Hajat (hampir) 280 juta orang di kepulauan luas ini diserahkan ke 1 orang is not a joke.
Dulu Belanda punya wilayah sebesar ini gak ada niatan ngeribetin diri untuk pembangunan, termasuk pembangunan manusianya, tapi cuman control to plunder (colonialism), easy, paling gak sebelum ada kebijakan ‘politik etis’ awal abad ke–20. Kalo ada pembangunan pun cuman diperlukan untuk nunjang plunder mereka doang, masyarakat just left neglected.
