This looks like a coordinated attack. Various branches of the Iranian forces are involved, and the attack wave consists of drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles. This is sad because only after days, the branches of the Iranian forces come together and coordinate some sort of attack.

Iran reportedly prepared the Hurram 4 liquid-fueled ballistic missile carrying a 2-ton warhead

We will be Crushing and Destructive

A spokesman for the Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that they would continue to bombard Israel until dawn.

I don't think it's at all like you say.

If it hasn't been decided already that U.S. will enter the conflict and Netanyahu fails to drag them into it and it remains a limited and short engagement, then this was done for populist reasons by Netanyahu against the long-term interests of Israeli national interests, as such an engagement will not be able to stop Iranian enrichment program while giving them ample ground to pursue the bomb later in more secret and even deeper underground facilities.

P.S. The caveat is that Israel is now flying Hermes over the center of the capital; they now know Iranian air defence is a joke and they can treat it like Syria, making intelligence-gathering and sabotage of such a program much easier. But I still believe the sheer size of the country makes it almost impossible to stop such a program even with the kind of air dominance Israel has.

Isreal has to go for the complete and total kill, otherwise what they have done guarantees that Iran gets the nuke and no will blame them. But I've got to imagine they "crusader coalition" calculated this and know that this can't be a half measure, because if it is and the iranian regime survives and continues to exist as an enemy of Isreal, then 100% their getting nukes.

Israel and US exhausting supplies of ballistic missile interceptors, source says

Israel is using its ballistic missile interceptors at a rapid clip after four days of war with Iran, a senior US official familiar with efforts to resupply Israel told Middle East Eye.

In some quarters of the US government, there are concerns that a direct US strike on Iran could lead to bigger Iranian retaliation against Israel that would drain the US’s global stockpile of missile interceptors to a “horrendous” level, the official said.

Israel relies on a three-tiered air defence system, and Iran’s attacks are challenging its most sophisticated defences.

The Iron Dome is used to shoot down short-range rockets and drones fired by groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. The second level is David’s Sling, which can intercept heavier rockets along with some ballistic missiles. The Arrow 2 and 3 systems are used to down ballistic missiles, with the latter able to shoot down exoatmospheric hypersonic missiles.

Replenishing the Arrow systems has been a perennial problem for Israel.

MEE reported in September 2024 that Israel was struggling to replenish Arrow interceptors after Iran’s first attack on Israel in April of that year. The US and Israel jointly produce Arrow interceptors.

“The types of interceptors that are required to shoot down ballistic missiles are expensive and difficult to produce in mass quantities,” Dan Caldwell, a former senior Department of Defence official in the Trump administration, who opposed military confrontation with Iran, wrote on X.

“I will assume Israel has stockpiled a decent number of Arrows and Stunners for its David's Sling but they have to had expend many of those against the Houthis and during Iran's previous missile attacks last year. It is therefore likely that Israel and US are going to have start rationing their interceptors soon,” he added.

Iran has fired at least 370 ballistic missiles at Israel since 13 June, the Israeli prime minister's press office said on Monday.

Thin margins

One advantage Israel enjoys that may help address the shortage of interceptors is its air superiority over Iran, which it appears to have obtained within four days of bombing.

Israeli warplanes are operating over Tehran in daylight hours. According to Israel’s military, they have taken out about one-third of Iran’s surface-to-surface missile launch capabilities.

Josh Paul, a former US State Department official who resigned in protest against US support for Israel’s war on Gaza, told MEE that Israel has selectively targeted Iran’s launch capabilities.

“We don’t know how much more Iran can launch. I think it is a problem more of launchers than missiles,” he said. However, the two US officials MEE spoke with said that Iran is still holding back in its missile attacks, partly at least to avoid the US directly joining Israel in offensive operations.

Three Arab officials, including some whose countries are mediating between the US and Iran, told MEE on Monday that they believe the US is more likely than not to directly intervene in Israel’s offensive strikes.

The US’s carefully constructed line between intervening or not is growing thinner, though. Several current and former US officials who spoke to MEE described the US as “co-belligerent” to the conflict because it is actively participating in Israel’s defence.

The US is trying to make up for a shortfall in Israel’s own interceptors, the officials say.

The US has shot down Israeli missiles using at least one Terminal High-Altitude Area Defence antimissile battery in Israel. The US also has several Patriot antimissile batteries across the region.

Notably, a separate US defence official confirmed to MEE on Monday that the US has fired SM-3 air-defence missiles to protect Israel.

The SM-3 is the ship-mounted version of the Patriot. The official said the USS Arleigh Burke guided missile destroyer participated in Israel's defence from the eastern Mediterranean.

Defence analysts noted that during the US’s 2024 campaign against the Houthis in Yemen, the US Navy fired a year’s worth of SM-3 interceptors in a single day.

As the war between Israel and Iran enters its fifth day, the US is sending more military assets into the theatre of operations.

The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier is en route from the South China Sea to the Middle East, according to ship tracking data. The aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson is already in the Middle East.

Iran only launched 10 ballistic missiles this time. Iran probably used cruise missiles and kamikaze UAVs to compensate for the low amount of ballistic missiles, but this plan failed.

Tehran is under heavy bombardment.

Lets be honest most of these middle eastern types are absolute jokers. The white man or rather the anglo american crusader coalition keeps putting them in their place. For decades these iranians were constantly bragging how Isreal will be destroyed, how Isreal is nothing etc. Today the Iranians see the reality, they are nothing.

also why they so quick to flee, nothing major has taken place yet. If the Isrealis air dropped soldiers in would the entire city flee to Turkiye? They remind me of the PKK, lots of big man talk but once the shit hits the fan they always flee the scene. Then in their shameless behaviour when its died down and a bit of time has passed their back to behaving in the exact same clownish and utterly shameless way.

Trump might announce the involvement of the US. Trump will probably give one last ultimatum to Iran for unconditional surrender, stop the nuclear program, dismantle everything limit the missile production to tactical ranges.

The Mullah regime is on the ropes.

According to Iranian media, Trump is doing this to convince Iran to resume negotiations and stop the big attack Iran is supposed to do at night.

They stop that stuff all that will happen is the crusader coalition will intervene later and destroy them easier. Look at Ghaddafi as an example of falling for the white mans lies.

Reality is if Iranians have brains, the aim now is to grind through this trouble, to start kissing ass of Turkiye and Pakistan for indirect help and then to develop the bomb as quickly as possible.

The long term of the crusader coalition is the complete conquest and subjugation of the region, everything has been an incremental process so far for them. The mass sustained dehumanisation of Muslims in the western media will be eventually for their final solution of the "Islam question".

Unfortunately the iranians are shamelss and treacherous politically speaking, they try to kill you today, tomorrow they behave as if we are Muslim brothers.

On a site note, if us Turks have any brains it is absolutely imperative that we have the nuclear deterrent too. The white crusader world is as vicious and dangerous as they come. You get caught sleeping and you'll wake one day like the Palestinians.

One thing you have to give to white world when it comes to war they always find it easy to come as a gang. When the Muslim goes to war, he's nearly always alone. It was the same during the Seljuk/Ottoman days and its the same today.

Pakistan's rhetoric and even actions show they understand the assignment; with Iranian soil firmly in the hands of zionist puppets, Pakistan's denuclearization will be demanded next.
