The country which has population of almost 120 millions and arable land size of Suisse can't have much of future. When I was a kid , Egypt hasd about 38 to 40 million. Geography in itself is tricky, even in unlikely case of conflict with Israel, it is narrow geography and open empty places, they see them coming. The source of Nile are far.
It is what they as population chose. Weather you have economy and technology or 15 children it is you choice.
The army is a behemoth, too many suppliers also. I guess that they produce few systems from the scratch and a loads of the spare parts but that isn't what really is needed .
It took Ukrainian pilots almost a year to qualify from su27 and Mig 29s to F16. Those pilots received training for free from top Western schools. Imagine all those various planes and systems???
I guess that has been the state policy.
As of Turkiye, all is ok . Some deals have been made and it is as far as it will go. At least good enough to cover some costs. What Egypt is going to do , it is their problem. I don't see them changing any equitation. Good luck and good bye.

Egypt is not in a good place geographically. Control of the Suez seems great, but their geography is a curse. Not only because they rely on fresh water that is out of their control, but because their largest cities are on flat, exposed land.

With good training their military can become potent, but it will need 5 years to make a major stride forward.

I wish them all the best, but for that someone needs to have money, clear and objective vision etc. I am afraid that they don't have that. Despite the numbers of Arabs and the resources, none of them are able to make even single air frame.
Take a look at Egyptian air defence systems? Plentiful, of course from the various countries. On paper, it should be much better than the Turkish ones but that's not the case.
In the last 12 13 years, Turkey fired 100s of missiles for the sake of development. Missiles, radars, communications, combat management systems, production, tooling etc. even VSL Turkey tested air defence again Kizilelma, Anka 3 and to extent KAAN . Let alone all the experience in signal collecting SOJ project, unified command. In all of that, foreign nations have no insight. Add incoming satellites and Fergani GPS and it is holistic system. It might not be the best in the world but Turkish Air defence command knows inside out the system that they got with the huge experience of testing.
Weather Egypt or Saudi want to go with that in some way it would be more beneficial to them than for Turkiye. If not , there you go , good luck good bye and no hard feelings. After all, as we Bosnians say " What you don't have you can without". Programs must be finished and I am confident insha'Allah that all of it will be resolved sooner or later

Having an Israeli security analyst spill out his trashy statements is just enough to know how most of what is being stated is bullsh**t

The only thing I got from this video is how Israel is bitching over Turkey's growing alliances and strength
🔺️Israel is angry that Turkey is growing stronger with every passing day and is scared that they wont be able to contain the Turks anymore
🔺️Israel is angry at Erdogan for unifying Syria and is piss scared at making Syria's single army even stronger that Israel will eventually wont be able to contain
🔺️Israel is angry that Erdogan is working towards building a security architecture comprising of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Egypt aimed at destroying Israeli interferemce within the region
🔺️Israel is angry that Syria, which under Assad's family 50-year rule and brainwashing has turned majority of Syrians anti-Turkey only for it to be overturned within 10 years and how many Syrians are grateful for Turkey that they endured the Syrians within their lands and how the sentiment of brotherhood has emerged between both populations. This terrifies Israel as Syria will soon align with Erdogan's foreign policy, join the Turkish sphere of influence, and will aid Turkey in destroying any radical elements aimed at destabilisng both brotherly nations
🔺️Israel is angry that Saudi Arabia is now re-aligning with Turkey
🔺️Israel states that Al-Sharaa is a terrorist even though they themselves supported Al-Nusra and are treating ISIS commander
🔺️Israel believes that by only aligning with Israel's future vision over the region will there be true peace and how only the UAE does that openly while criticisng the Turks, Saudis, and Egyptians
🔺️Israel is angry that Al-Sharaa said there can be no peace with Israel as that would mean Syria's surrender of Golan heights to Israel

I just want people to know something very well rn
the moment the state of Israel has been formed, the moment the Middle East has been embroiled in an unending cycle of pain, bloodshed, and suffering. This Satanic death cult is the reason for all the mess we are in👇

🔺️It is Israel that sent its own Mossad and IDF forces, under the guise of NGOs into Sudan to plan its splitting into two parts; i-e, Sudan and South Sudan
🔺️It is Israel that is illegally occupying the Golan Heights of Syria yet dare to even ask for normalisation and peace with Syria which would defacto mean that Syria is willing to surrender its territory to Israel
🔺️It is Israel that wanted to illegaly divide Syria into federations, kick the Syrian-majority Sunni Arabs that make 80% of the population and demographically occupy 92% of all Syria into a small, barren, desert while giving radical fascist PKK-kurds, drug lord Druze, and murderous Alawites control of all Syria resources and strategic infrastructure
🔺️It is Israel that aided the PKK long before Erdogan came to power; even Ocalan himself admitted how in the 1990s he had continuous contact with Mossad agents
🔺️It is Israel that promoted Hamas to rule Palestine, which ironically, they now label as terrorist organisation
🔺️It is Israel that is actively stealing Palestinian lands, against all peace treaties that even Israel had signed before
🔺️It is Israel that promoted the current civil war in Sudan and I wont even begin to mention the degree of atrocities that the Israeli-backed RSF is commiting against the innocent Sudanese people rn
🔺️It is Israel that is actively breaking away Somalia to fullfill its degenrate agenda
🔺️It is Israel trying to undermine Turkish soveriegnity over its Med Sea territory due to the fact which was stated by many Israeli news sites before: "If Turkey got oil, it will be too strong to contain"
🔺️It is Benjamin Natenyahu that promoted the war in Iraq to the US congress and stated how that if Saddam fell, it would have positive reverberations accross the region
🔺️It is Israel that aided the UAE in breaking Libya and Yemen and are working to undermine the influence of Turkey and Egypt in Africa
🔺️It is Israel that runs one of the largest prostitution rings, drug rings, Organ-trading rings, pedophilic rings, and human trafficking rings worldwide
🔺️It is Benjamin Natenyahu that openly admitted that he believes that many nations within the Med East are too big and needs to be divided for Israel's security and that includes Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Libya, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia
🔺️It is Benjamin Natenyahu that openly admitted that Israel, since its founding, has been running on Talmudic beliefs and scriptures. A book that promotes and legalises rape, pedophilia, non-jews as "goyim" (creatures worse than animals), how everything in this world was promised to them 2000 years ago, promotes slavery and how all non-jews are eventually meant to end up as slaves to the jew
🔺️It is Israel that admitted to treating ISIS's leader and many Al-Nusra/Al-Qaeda fighters in its hospitals under "humanitarian concern" while they accuse Syrian president AL-Sharra of being a terrorist

Each and every catastrophe that occured in the Med East within the last 50 years was either directly or indirectly caused by Israel. So when you bring a two-hour long video about a trash Israeli analyst justifying Israel's side, you immediately realise that it is nothing more than propaganda towards the ignorant masses

I can bet my whole life's savings that if Erdogan were to announce complete cessation of Turkish military developement, the Israelis would be the first to praise Erdogan on how much of a progressive, democratic, Western-oriented, and peace-loving leader really is

And after all this, you find the Israelis wondering why on earth the whole region bloody fqing hates those c**ts as if they are some victims

No other "race" on earth gets as hyped on defeating Arabs like the jews do. The way jews talk about defeating arab armies you would think the Arabs were some kind of global super power.
He was talking down the threat from Turkiye.

Apparently RTE has postponed his visit to UAE as the Emir has health problems.
Some other sites are quoting he has had a blood clot in his brain leaving him paralysed and in serious situation.

Can Anyone with Arabic knowledge be kind enough to confirm if there is any authenticity of this news?

Does Erdogan's mistake confirm the rumor of the illness of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed?

The matter had spread on social media regarding the illness of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, but it remained within the realm of rumors that usually circulate on social media, without confirmation from official bodies or credible sources, until the announcement by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was scheduled to visit Abu Dhabi on Monday, February 16, but Erdoğan posted a tweet on the X platform announcing the postponement of the visit due to a "health issue" affecting Emirati President Mohammed bin Zayed. The Turkish president's post was quickly deleted, but AFP kept a screenshot.

The Turkish Presidency said in the deleted post, "Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a telephone call to the President of the United Arab Emirates (...) During the call, President Erdoğan expressed his sadness regarding the health condition that afflicted (President) Al Nahyan and wished him a speedy recovery."

This post was quickly deleted, and Turkish state television also removed from its report on the subject the reference to the UAE president's illness.

Unconfirmed reports had indicated that Mohammed bin Zayed had been rushed to the hospital, weeks after reports, also unconfirmed, had emerged that he was suffering from leukemia.

So far, no statement has been issued from Abu Dhabi denying or confirming these rumors. Regarding the Turkish president's visit to the UAE, the official Emirati news agency merely reported on a telephone call between the two men, during which they discussed bilateral relations and regional issues

In a strange incident, the Turkish presidency deleted a message in which it referred to the illness of the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and then republished it without mentioning the illness.
The Turkish Presidency said via its “X” platform account, for the first time, “President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a telephone call to the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan,” and added, “During the call, President Erdoğan expressed his sadness over the health problem that Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed is going through and wished him a speedy recovery.”

Shortly after, the Turkish Presidency's account deleted the message and then republished it without the paragraph referring to the UAE President's illness.
According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed, in a telephone call, the relations of cooperation between the two countries and ways to enhance them in a way that serves common interests and benefits their people, stressing their mutual keenness to continue joint work and advance the paths of partnership

Personally, I believe that the tweet and the leak were deliberate. The deletion is to say that wasn't intentional but I reserve my opinion. e

Ragıp says Mitsotakis' visit was also cancelled. He was supposed to go to UAE tomorrow and then to India. But he also had a phone call with him today.
