Cyrus supported Jewish self determination in Judea, hence he was a Zionist. And under him Persia became a strongest country on earth.

And under anti-Zionist ayatulas Iran became a third world gas station.
OK so now this thread is devolving into theological ethnosupremacist delusions.

If you could please keep your talmudic political theory to your seder discussions, that would be much appreciated.

A piece of advice to my fellow forum members who are similarly astounded by this 500's weak grip of reality and/or commitment to the truth.

The optimal response would be not to engage.

Is it better to live in an echo chamber where only one opinion is permitted?
Forums are for every side to be seen and opinions to be discussed even if we don’t agree with them.

ps Hopefully they catch that American pilot… really want to see what Trump tweets next. 😁

Today, UNIFIL paid tribute to the life and work of Major Zulmi Aditya Iskandar, First Sergeant Muhammad Nur Ichwan, and Corporal Farizal Rhomadon from Indonesia, who lost their lives in two incidents on March 29 and 30 while bravely carrying out their duties in south Lebanon.

IDF will pay the price.

US search helicopter also hit by projectile in Iran: report

Iran’s Mehr news agency is reporting that a US helicopter, on a search mission for the jet reportedly shot down in Iran, has also been hit by a projectile, Al Jazeera reports.

The race is on. If the Iranians get there first, that pilot becomes the ultimate bargaining chip.

The scale of Iranian defiance over the past month is without precedent. Standing firm against a coalition of powerful adversaries requires significant resolve. By maintaining its position against the US and Israel, Iran has demonstrated a level of strategic depth and resilience that few anticipated. While other countries might have succumbed early on, Iran has opted for a path of sustained resistance.

This is the first case of a US jet being downed in this war - and it matters

This is the first known case of a US fighter jets being shot down over Iran during this conflict. Three F-15Es were shot down by accidental friendly fire by Kuwaiti air defences earlier in the war.

Why does that matter?

Firstly, this comes after Donald Trump and his defence secretary Pete Hegseth have both repeatedly suggested that the US has effectively won this war. Hegseth and military commanders have spoken of "air superiority" and how degraded Iran’s air defences are. Trump had claimed that Iran "can’t do a thing" about US planes flying over its country.

That rhetoric now seems over-confident. This shows that Iran still retains - albeit likely a limited and very reduced - capacity to defend its skies.

Secondly, this comes as the US has been threatening further escalation while also talking up hopes for a deal. This could be used as fuel to accelerate that US escalation in retaliation.

It also may increase nerves among the American public that more US service people are being impacted by this war, at a time when the Trump administration has reportedly been mulling a potential ground invasion - which would increase the risk to US personnel significantly.

Iran continues to defy expectations. We have likely underestimated their strategic abilities and resolve, especially as this war shatters several prevailing myths. The downing of an F-15 is a serious development that shouldn't be dismissed. It remains a fascinating case study: exactly how they did it will be the question on everyone’s mind. As the technical details of the shoot down emerge, Trump remains in a deeply precarious position. The 'Stone Age' threat will come to haunt him badly.

This does not mean anything. It just shows that US/Israel jets are flying so low (because they know practically there is no AD from Iran) that they can be targeted by missiles fired by a soldier. If hundreds of planes flying over Iran day in day out it can also be a mechanical failure.

What is very telling: US has saved one of the pilots!! This is within Iran territory! That means even helicopters can fly in to rescue the pilot. This is all bullshit that I hear from so called experts in the media saying "Iran is winning". If 100 of those 600 jets that attacked Iran the first day would not have turned back, then I'd say Iran might win this. But we are far from it.

EDIT: Btw, think about revising your name, it is repulsive.

yeah the performance has been abysmal. The bar is so low for middle easterners that when one plane gets downed it a big cause for celebration.

I hear things like iran has been preparing for this kind of war for the last 50 years and i think what a load of nonsense. So they were preparing to lose control of their skies within the space of a couple of days and then endure thousands of sorties bombing the shit out of everything within the first month?

They bombed the shit out of small gaza for over a year, would not surprise me if the real intention is to keeping striking iran for years to come.

This is all BS is such a cheap cop out from you. Fact remains that an incredibly hyped and invincible F-15 was shot down. Wasn't the Iran war supposed to be finished within days? What happened?

PS. Don't worry about my name. Satan has more credibility compared to Israel and the US that you like to defend.

I think that whole finishing iran in days was just to sell the war to americans. The same americans/zionists havnt been able to finish gaza off after a year. No way in hell they believed that iran could be ended so quickly.

I think the plan is for a war to drag on many many years and potentially for it to expand bringing others into. Then the americans/zionists will attempt the same game they played in syria, where they made sure that the war dragged on and on and on.

Nearly everything they say is a smokescreen, a deception. The reality has always been what they have done, nothing else.
