Russia is losing in Ukriane? Since when?
Russians just took control of konstyantinivka (if thats spelled correctly) a couple of days ago. This city was the last city that protected the core of Donbass; namely, the cities of Slovyansk and karmatorsk.

76 ships hit in the last six days. Refineries as far as north-east of Astana being hit. Crimea out of gas. Russia turned from a refined oil products exporter into an importer.

And all they can show for this is Kostyantynivka?

Russia is losing so bad that even Russian bloggers have started to worry. At this point, when funding for Ukraine is guaranteed for two more years, Russia is toast.

Ukrainian and European MIC are ramping up while Russia will suffer a collosal economic crisis and will have less money to fund the war. It is starting to look as if the end game for this war will indeed be the break up of the Russian Federation into smaller states.

Ukraine and Europe will punish Russia for what it did, now that the money have been allocated and the industry has started to ramp up.

A look at what is going on in the Russian economy...

Vladislav Inozemtsev, an associate fellow at the Russia and Eurasia Programme of the London-based think tank Chatham House:

“It is worth noting that government policy – including efforts to nationalise certain ‘strategic’ companies, raise taxes, and cut social spending – is doing far more damage to the economy than Western sanctions and the deteriorating external environment combined,” Inozemtsev said.

“Frankly, it is hard to imagine any improvement in the state of the Russian economy before the war ends.”

I think that he and Russia's central bank are in probably agreement. The difference between the two is that he does not risk being sent to a gulag for publicly voicing his opinion whereas the head of the central bank cannot be so sure.

Sales of gasoline to the public in Crimea are banned. With the use of cars soon to be impossible for residents of Crimea without buying fuel sold on the black market or driving to mainland Russia to search for fuel, alternative forms of private transport may be needed. It is reported that public transport in the form of bus and train is curtailed.

How about bicycles? Are they a practical alternative for short distances in Crimea, as they are in the Netherlands?

I also wonder how many people in Crimea have horses and even better, carts as well.

If Donbass falls, its nothing more than flat terrian to Kyiv. There is a bloody reason why Ukraine started attacking Russian shadow fleets more frequently in the recent days

Do you have any idea how large and well defended Kramatorsk and Slovyansk are? They're the Donbas' twin fortress cities and by far, the largest populated area Russia has tried to take since Mariupol. Look how long it took for Russia to take tiny little cities / towns such as Bahkmut and Avdiivka. We're talking year long offensives to take small communities. Kramatorsk and Slovyansk had combined pre-war populations of more than 250,000 people. The size of the cities are substantial and have been heavily fortified, are on high ground and have defensive depth built behind them. Acting like either is at risk of following anytime soon is delusional. It will be winter before Russia would even be in position to prepare an offensive of said magnitude.

Germany 🇩🇪 is funding 50,000 Shrike FPV drones for Ukraine, valued at $103 million usd. Each drone is equiped with a propriety AI enabled technology by American company Auterion, enabling them to target and track targets in the final stages of flight, making the drone nearly impervious to Russian electronic warfare measures.

The first of the drones has reportedly already arrived in Ukraine and will continue to arrive in sizeable batches throughout 2026 and into 2027.

Ukraine will buy 16 Rafale fighter jets

"
French President Emmanuel Macron announced during a press conference on Monday that Paris will follow the United States' example, granting Ukraine licenses to "manufacture its missiles," including Aster-30 anti-ballistic missiles, AASM Hammer precision-guided bombs, and SCALP long-range cruise missiles.

He also revealed that Ukraine will buy 16 Rafale fighter jets made by the French aerospace company Dassault Aviation, with these aircraft set to fly in Ukrainian skies by 2028 or 2029. Meanwhile, the French head of state also mentioned that Kyiv agreed to buy the SAMP-T air defense system."

Other sources say that Ukrainian pilots will begin training in France this year and continue throughout 2027 and early 2028, in line with the delivery timelines mentioned.

This is exactly what Ukraine needs. F-16s, Mirage-2000s, Mig-29s and SU-27s for the remainder of 2026. In 2027 they'll start the process of phasing in Gripen-C/D and phasing put their Soviet made aircraft. By 2028 they'll start receiving Gripen-E and Rafale, at which point they'll phase out the remainder of their Soviet made aircrat in service and their Mirage-2000s.

By 2029 their fleet will consist almost exclusively of F-16s, Gripen-C/D/E and Rafale, with modern Western weapons.

11 more Russian ships were struck by Ukraine in the Sea of Azov last night as they are sitting ducks, without any support from the Russian Navy. Ukrainr is inflicting billions of dollars worth if damage using cheap attack drones. Russia has yet to come up with a solution.

Nearly 100 ships have been struck and put out of working over the last week. The ability to supply Crimea via the water has been all but eliminated at this point. The Kerch bridge remains the only supply route with capable air defense.

Further details have emerged regarding a comprehensive armament deal between France 🇫🇷 and Ukraine 🇺🇦.

Ukraine has purchased 4x SAMP/T NG Air Defense Batteries, which will arrive throughout 2027.

France will loan Ukraine 2x SAMP/T Air Defense Batteries in the meantime, both of which are to be returned to France when Ukraine's new systems arrive.

Ukraine is also buying 5x GM400 Long Range Air Defense Radars, 1x Ground Fire 300 Radar and 1x Kronos Radar as part of the air defense package.

Ukraine is purchasing 16 Rafale jets from France, with the fiest 4 units coming from existing French inventories to accelerate their timeline. The remaining 12 units will arrive throughout 2028-2029. France will begin training Ukrainian pilots to fly Rafales this year.

France and Ukraine have also entered a licensing agreement for Ukraine to build three of France's most capable weapons in Ukraine. Aster 30 Air Defense Missiles (primary SAMP/T interceptor), SCALP cruise missiles (already integrated with Ukrainian fighter jets) and AASM (JDAM analog) bombs kits.

Russian "Geran-4 Seeker" jet-powered UAVs struck Ukrainian dry cargo ships at the Chornomorsk port in the Odesa region and vessels at the Dnipro-Buh port near the village of Halytsynove in the Mykolaiv region. The strikes ignited fires on the vessels; this is shown at the end of the video. Previously, two Ukrainian dry cargo ships, a sea ferry, and a patrol boat had been destroyed by drones at the Chornomorsk port.

Roll on the entry of a fighter armed with Meteor into the equation next year. I understand that Russia will need to recalculate its use of glide bomb attacks, being forced to move launch platforms further back from the battle space to avoid them being downed

Footage shows a Russian FAB-3000 aerial bomb striking a temporary deployment point of Ukraine’s 414th Brigade near the village of Karabelove, south of Kherson. Personnel from the 414th Separate Brigade ("Madyar’s Birds") were stationed in the School No. 57 building. Operators had previously attacked Russian fuel trucks on a highway in Crimea. As a result of the strike by a Su-34 fighter-bomber, the building was destroyed and 60 soldiers were killed.

Enormous fire near Moscow as Ukrainian drones struck and set fire to a massive Wilberries collection facility / logistics depot. Wildberry has been active in providing logistics for the Russian military. Ukraine also struck their logistics depot in Tambov as well.
