    Korea KF-X/ IF-X (KF-21) program

T/R module counts probably wouldn't change in block 2 but there's a possibility that the newer, more powerful T/R module will be used. Current Korean MMIC has a peak output of 15W. Though that's not a given since Block 2 is only 2 years apart from Block 1 and is mainly a software upgrade...

    Korea KF-X/ IF-X (KF-21) program

He's probably talking about Korean MMIC and T/R module development and miniaturisation from 2006 till now. I unfortunately can't find a picture of it. That Bemil report has been proven multiple time to be wrong. KF-21 block 1 AESA will have 1088 T/R modules and that's final.

Canada Canada picks the F-35 in fighter replacement competition

Add to that the Bombardier-Boeing trade/tariff disputes that happened just as Superbug became the preferred choice of the liberal administration. It really was an absolute clownery.

UV-based MWS has higher fidelity on lower altitudes with stronger background IR radiation from the surface. UV based MWS like those on the Belgian F-16s or F-15s acquired by Gulf countries have them for a reason and it is especially useful in dry, hot climates. If Turkish focus is to get MMU...

Indonesia Indonesian Navy, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Laut (TNI-AL)

Yup, recent offers to transfer Pohangs to TNI AL wasn't denied by the Korean government but was declined by the Indonesian side.

Indonesia Indonesian Air Force, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU)

Those planes in AMARG are literally out of their serviceable life. Few countries already looked into the used F-16 market in the past decade and the key take away was that there are no used Falcons to be acquired, since it was such a hot commodity. South Korea for example also looked for a...

That as well, but I'm talking about Korea-Japan relationship. There is no chance that Japan sells/purchases advanced military equipment/components to Korea and vice versa. It simply cannot happen. It's like an Indian new paper reporting that Aselsan could potentially supply BURFIS radar to Greece.

Indonesia Indonesian Air Force, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU)

Wasn't this supposed to be funded by Qatar/UAE? Did they back out or what.

Wouldn't really believe what that article's saying without it mentioning primary source. Besides, Korea's the last place you'd expect the GCAP consortium to supply those core components for obvious reasons. Also no way in hell they do so with Taiwan as well.

Indonesia Indonesian Air Force, Tentara Nasional Indonesia-Angkatan Udara (TNI-AU)

Without primary sources those claims are dubious at best. Also, I wouldn't really trust Indian military news in general. Most importantly, when all of those key components are co-developed with Japan, there's no chance of them offering it to Korea and add to that, also no chance of them offering...

    USA F-35 Lightning II

Why do I always see Russians bringing up their photonic radars that has never been fielded as an excuse of having mediocre RF technology... Besides the fact that the west is also decades ahead of them in photonics and have fielded various commercial applications of it? By having way better...

Yes, like I've wrote before T-X/F-X could be traced back to late 2000s

Now that I think about it with a bit of a cool head, all these disputes could have been avoided all together. There was a clear misunderstanding about one another's post. Let's summarize. The post from @Baljak (https://defencehub.live/threads/altay-main-battle-tank-programs.272/post-235499) was...

"Technology that Korea itself is not able to make" "I dont even care what you get, if i would care, i would be on Korean tech channel" "But never talk to a Turk without proof, you will be busted sooner or later." ?? Seriously... let's show some decency here. I'm sorry to tell you but you...

Go ask DOTE about the chances. PK is not published. Also, SM-6 fired from Typhon is for ground strike purposes, part of MRC program for the Strategic Fires Battalion. It has nothing to do with Patriot.

Director Operational Test and Evaluation document clearly mentions that the PAC-3 MSE is capable of engaging and intercepting MRBM. This was also tested in MFT-B with a test target, presumably LRALT. They also regularly have tested against Juno as well. Japan is upgrading their PACs with the new...

PAC-3 MSE is fully capable of engaging ballistic missiles of that range.
