    TR TF-X KAAN Fighter Jet

The lack of vertical stabilizers lowers the RCS of the aircraft. Maneuverability will be less important in the future.

6th Gen will probably come with Advanced propulsion, variable bypass design, and CMC turbine blades Galium oxide radars Wideband RF and IR stealth Advanced networking (LEO SAT constellation), data fusion, and MUM-T Aerodynamic design without vertical stabilizers Increased power production (1MW)...

I disagree. Simulations will provide good results. It is not like a simulation result and real measurement results will differ a lot. Even amateurs can make decent calculations. Experts can do really precise calculations. I don't think engineers at Dassault or LM will have any problem...

Yeah from the waves behind the Albatros, we can deduce it is cruising fast. Aselflir-500 is better than MX-15D and by a lot not something like %5. There is no doubt anymore. It is very likely that this time next year Aselsan will start Aselflir-600 production.

This is %100 TEI and the engine is ready for action. All of the sensor cables are in place. I don't know if this is a recent photo.

Luneberg lenses are not needed as there is no RAM on the aircraft. RCS of the geometry can be calculated with engineering simulation programs with a good enough result so there is nothing to hide at the moment.

It is the perfect first flight couldn't be any better. Heartfelt thanks to anyone who puts effort into making it happen.

Tanks will get smaller. There will be 3-man crew tanks and later 2-man crew tanks will take over. UGVs will be deployed with tanks. There will be tank pilots similar to fighter pilots. One of them will drive the other one will be responsible for controlling UGVs and weapons. AI will help tank...

EIRS already did a test shot with Siper without ÇFAKR (and did another with ÇFAKR). This seems suspicious.

I think this was spot on. We are onto something here. I posted this on November 16, 2022.

There is also another thing I mentioned in the past. Dual-band T/R modules. Aselsan has been working on dual-band modules. What if Aselsan managed to produce a T/R module or a building block that can work in both S-band and X-band with sufficient performance?

Networking is the buzzword here. You can't install a radar on every tank but you can send targets/air picture to tanks and radar of the APS can be used for very short range targeting. (several hundred meters) Armored columns will be protected by systems like Gürz and Korkut.

30mm lightweight autocannon with airburst munition, capable jammers, and networking is the way to go against small drones. BTW TAI made a wonderful decision and started the conceptual studies of a 6th gen fighter.

We should develop a 30mm version of this and call it "ürküt"

Aselflir-600 is expected to make its maiden flight this year and complete its testing campaign this year if no problems are encountered. The testing process is getting shorter because of Baykar UAVs. Baykar can allocate a lot of sorties for testing in a short amount of time. Aselsan is making a...

One of the Siper launches was done without ÇFAKR radar to test this capability but I'm surprised they decided to drop the X-Band. The results must be very satisfactory and the quality of the track in S-Band must be comparable to X-band. The X-band gives less range but more resolution because it...

We can't sell Altay when AbramsX, K3, and KF51 Panther become available globally and this is not a distant future we are discussing. Those three projects gained momentum, they are not on paper projects. Obsolete doesn't mean useless. An AK-47 is a useful rifle but I would rather have an MPT if...

TR Altay Main Battle Tank & Related Programs

Obsolete doesn't mean useless. It will be the best tank we have when finally we see it in service but we should start designing the tank of 2030s today. That way, when we produce the first 250 units of Altay by 2030 we can switch to a next-gen tank. Half a decade is not much time. We can't...

I don't like the +4 İstif class to be the same config. I think it is a wrong decision. UAVs and anti-ship missiles are proliferating fast. Even actors like Houthis can form strike packages of 15-20 effectors easily. I think we should rework the mast of İstif class. We should use the X-band AESA...
