She hasn't shown up. Some Chinese state media showed some videos and claimed she is fine. Subscribing to what the Chinese state media states might be your necessity. Not that of others.
This has to do with a missing tennis player in China. And are you suggesting that everyone from Nadal to Djokovic and Naomi Osaka are making statements at the behest of democratic governments in the west?
