Only redeeming thing about "Istikbal" is that it's from the famous visionary quote from Atatürk "istikbsl göklerdedir" It's understandable because Ottoman words were widely used at that time, although it was Atatürk huimself who initiated "reTurkifying" the language.

If it's going to be a multi-syllable word, I hope it won't be istikbal (Future) as this is an Arabic word استقبال Instead something like Karabasan (Nightmare) or Yildirim (Thunder) otherwise a single or double syllable word e.g. Kurt, Börü, Bürküt, Kartal, Eren etc.
