What is this Alman guy trying to convey here, I think it has been clear that F-15ID isn't going to be a downgrade and in fact become one of the few with EPAWSS equipped. And about the accusation that we are deliberately set aside in favor of SG and AU, that also depends on us too. That's...

Well, the point is that Rafale CAN carry ramjet nukes, but of course, it doesn't have to, it merely talks about the capability. The admin guy probably simply copas Rafale specs directly from wikipedia.

Dumbest defense commentator be like. Seriously, a foreign policy is based on CAPABILITY, not on intention. You can be the most pacifist and kind nation on the planet, but if you cannot defend yourself, then you WILL get attacked, or subdued diplomatically at least. I think it's naive to say...

Here you go Well, I know about archive.org, but I have a problem with it. It is harder to navigate and often the books are restricted. So yeah I prefer dedicated book websites instead, but of course, I use archive.org from time to time because my professor also uses it.

I have 3 versions, plain translate, with commentary, and with cartoon illustration, I also have a separate guidebook. The one with commentary has a broken file due to format conversion but is still readable (tho a bit ugly font). Art of War is a simple and short book, shouldn't be too...

Andi vs Connie, who's better between the two? I see that Andi tends to see things more from the defense industry side, probably because of his education in the NDU Industrial College. While Connie tends to see it from another side than the defense industry, mostly the "politics" side of it if...

Low enough for us to be irrelevant, but big enough in their mind that makes them think they can sanction us by withholding their receh aid money (which we never beg for anyway).

I mean Israel has a long list of war experiences. Singapore has what? they never participated actively in any war whatsoever, and the only instance where they experience conventional war was the disastrous Fall of Singapore. Even then, in that war, only the Malay, Indian, and Bule troops...

That was seriously the most halu take I have ever seen in my life. Like attacking Indonesia is one thing, but fantasizing about establishing "Greater Singapore" is just an overdose of copium. Who the heck made that sh*t? How the heck did it get circulated around the forums?

You know, getting Astra missiles might be a good idea considering it's only half the cost of Meteor, has comparable specs (on paper), and is produced in neighboring India. I don't know the detail regarding integration because it was mostly used on "eastern" platforms, not sure if it can be...

It seems to me that the doctrine in TNI AD is that Infantry > Artillery > Cavalry. Looking at the Seskoad enrollment ratio, and also with acquisition priority, it looks like AD put the artillery at a higher priority than the Cavalry.

How significant is the addition of EPAWSS? What is the exact capability we are going to get?

Let's assume they are driving us to an edge here "I accept your offer if you accept our deal". Well After all 36 > 24.

Could be nice to have, hopefully, the future KF-21 will also provide us with such operational independence.

Firing these things is not easy, there will obviously be a delay between the control station, the munition being fired, and the target. They are somewhat consistently useful against stationary targets, but not so much for the mobile one. That is why the US, which used to rely on cruise missiles...

Some questions: People complain a lot that our air force fleet is very gado-gado that it complicates their logistics (sounds like a big deal). But on the other hand, the Navy being gado-gado (such as the idea of having both U209 and Scorpene) seems to be more acceptable in the eyes of many...
