But Defence Turkey said that GTU-0 will perform the flight tests, so it is not really for ground tests i suppose

MURAD will use liquid cooling, probably some ports to re-cool the liquid, i don't really know much about that part

it is because of the camera lens, wings are not *that* back

Bro at this point i am surprised how they can find and manage space for all these projects, i have been to there and it was already full of stuff in nearly every assembly building

Second part is alr, that's definitely correct, but there is no possibility of F-15EX having low levels of RCS, exposed fan blades, no canopy coating, no geometry etc. Main problem is those fan blades that are directly exposed to enemy radars

And also another thing to note, none of the officials mentioned DAS to function as IRST, we just know that it is specified for detecting stuff in close range or detecting very hot stuff from far, also how tf are you supposed to use that for A2A without a normal IRST stabilisation, (look at...

Hmm, so they improved it to 30dB in those 4 years? Noice

If you want long range IRST that gets effected less by weather, you need LWIR. Using 2 or more seekers would mean the sensor suite would get bigger, there is no IRST for F-35 except EOTS for shorter range and a limited axis. And yeah if you make that DAS suite to accommodate different...

DAS is not optimized for IRST tho, it is 360° short-mid range system for MWS. LWIR is better than MWIR for IRST

And what? Score hits from what range? In which environment, claims like those are not so healthy. Yes i didn't, but if you know what range the radar detects a Xm² target, then you can calculate the others, i took AN/APG-81's claimed stat for F-15EX, 1m² from 150km

if the KE is armed it doesn't go below 1, you don't take full fuel load everytime. And comparing a 3x sized fighter and it's capacity to KE is, ridiculous. Literally radar range formula (with ofc not changing some parameters because we couldn't otherwise) but in general if you want 1/2...

The problem is you kind of doing it wrong, essentially your idea is correct but arguements are not.

Uh you can look into wing, inlet, LEX, vertical stab, body shape and so to determine if the aircraft is made for agility or something else. As i said before thrust by itself is not meaningless, and especially when you in BVR combat, tho yes being higher and faster gives you a range advantage...
