Cost comes down not prices. For F-35 partner countries cost coming down is linked to lower prices. This is however not the case for non-partners (although discounts can be given for bulk purchases). Just look at how the wealthy Arab countries are overpaying for everything.

TB2 is no longer competing on price with anyone. It is the only tactical UCAV proven in battle many times over. The value proposition is clear and unmatched - they will even charge higher prices in the future (especially in sales to Western European countries).

Recent customers are paying $17 mUSD per unit w. the full package included. (training, maintenance etc.)

With their economy they shouldn't be able to afford this. They should stick to TB2 and a few Akinci. Anka and Aksungur are out of their budget. Unless they are preparing for a war with the tajiks. but even in that scenario the Aksungur platform doesn't make a lot of sense.

TAI needs to start transitioning their investments from world-class development and testing infrastructure to world-class production infrastructure. With so many projects reaching maturity and serial production, they can hardly have enough manufacturing capacity.
