    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

$1.2-$1.5 Billion usd to intercept that many ordinance is actually peanuts when it's split between Israel 🇮🇱, USA 🇺🇸, Britain 🇬🇧, France 🇫🇷, Jordan 🇯🇴 and Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦. Collectively, those countries can afford to intercept missile barrages for a LONG time.

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

Cruise missiles are essentially irrelevant. The travel time from Iran to Israel, combined with the speed the missiles travel at, make them easy pickings for Israeli fighter jets with modern targeting pods and radars, as well as Israel's air defense network. It's only really the ballistic...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

U.S. sent ATAM missiles to Ukraine that are beyond 20 years old, they've worked just fine. Thry sent DPICM 155mm artillery shells to Ukraine that are beyond 20 years old. They worked just fine. They sent Zuni rockets to Ukraine that are well beyond 20 years old. They worked just fine... A...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

Actually, they didn't. The Americans, Brits, Jordanians and Saudis actually contributed quite a bit, sharing the cost burden of the interception. It more than likely cost Israel $500-$750 million usd worth of interceptors, which us still a significant amount of money. But the there was no...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

...... Ummm 20 year old weapons are used all the time in combat. It's about the storage, maintenance and upkeep state of those weapons. Podunk countries don't invest in that type of upkeep, therefore, they see large rates of failure. Non-podunk countries do invest in proper storage, maintenance...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

If this is true, it is telegraphed in a way to give Iran time to prepare. Again, to show that Israel won't simply accept this, without blowing the entire region up in conflict. I'd be very surprised if an Israeli retaliatory strike featured anything more than limited, targeted strikes.

Thanks for sharing that HUD footage. Pretty cool stuff. The West makes some damn fine weapons platforms, with some awesome targeting capability.

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

If you read the bill, purpose of the money is pretty explicit. The overwhelming majority of the money is to enhance and re-supply Israel's air defense systems, further hardening the country from attacks the like of which we witnessed yesterday... And the reality is that said air defense network...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

This is for the best IMO. 1. Israel 🇮🇱 got to smoke some IRGC baddies in Syria. 2. Iran 🇮🇷 got to respond and save face in the region among their allies. 3. Israel 🇮🇱 will likely get $14 Billion in additional military aid passed. 4. Ukraine 🇺🇦 will likely get $60 Billion in additional...

The Israelis reported "minor" damage at the base. It is possible that nothing important at the facility was hit, but it's also possible that fairly significant damage was dealt.

    Live Conflict Ukraine-Russia War

I'm actually pumped about Iran retaliating because it's likely the catalyst that gets the U.S. supplemental aid package for Ukraine / Israel passed quickly. That means tens (if not hundreds) of thousands of Russian families that will send their loved ones to Ukraine and have their lives...

    Live Conflict Israel-Palestine War|Regional Escalations

It was a pretty insignificant attack overall, basically orchestrated between the two countries so that Iran's population felt vindicated for Israel's strike two weeks ago.

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

I don't expect to see a major war either. A decent response might be mass cruise missiles strikes from the Persian Gulf, aimed at smashing much of Iran's oil exporting capacity along its southern coast, as well as international trading ports. Essentially, you send the message that if they want...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

That would be juicy. I'd like to see to see a saturation attack vs Iranian air defense to see how it comparatively handles such an attack. A large scale ballistic / cruise missile strike on Tehran would be interesting. Just to see how well Iran's air defense holds up. Raining fire down on the...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

So it's a little complicated, but this is how it all fits together. The U.S. has a supplemental aid package worth $95 Billion usd in the House of Representatives, waiting to be voted on (it already passed in the Senate). That package includes $11 Billion usd in military aid for Israel 🇮🇱 and...

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

Agreed. No way they intercepted 100. 20-30, with 10'ish impacting?... That I would believe. 100 seems silly. I'm sure they probably intercepted 90%+ of drones though.

    Live Conflict Iran-Israel Conflict (2025)

All I care is that it's enough for USA 🇺🇸 to pass their $95 Billion usd defense supplemental and that countries like Britain 🇬🇧, Germany🇩🇪, France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, Canada 🇨🇦 and the Scandanavian countries get serious about passing additional meaningful aid and quickly committing to...

1 confirmed Israeli casualty so far. Has anyone heard anything different?

Hitting what?... That's the question. Big difference between hitting the Negev, or the outskirts of a city, vs hitting city centers or Israeli bases.
