There were news about new radar compound some time ago so maybe new factory for AESA radars? I think that would count as Steel Dome news

Imo main job of a MALE drone is recon then it is to provide air support in places you have the air superiority be it by exploiting the gaps in enemy AD or operating in areas you have total air superiority. The success TB-2 had against Russian systems was an anomaly and should not be regarded as...

Was there any news about the Kuzgun project in the IDEF? I was hoping that will start seeing more stuff after the last Kuzgun-SS test fire but it has been silent ever since.

There is also one extra factor talked about earlier in the video, IHA-300's diameter is 375mm not 300 despite the name. Air launched missiles probably allows for more unrestricted development phase due to not needing a standartized size to fit into multi-launch canisters and already existing...

Basically every [insert air defence system] got hit by [insert ballistic missile] at this point, I think it points more towards the effectiveness of saturation attacks rather than the inherit qualities of the systems itself at this point.

Now seeing this, do any of our cruise/ballistic missiles have an airbust warhead version? Cluster ATAMCS were doing work in Russia

I don't think a "missile" being fired from 10 km range is a realistic scnerio anyway that is literally MK bomb without wing kit range from the alititude a F-35 would be releasing it. A more realistic scnerio would be an undetected F-35 firing a missile from 150-200 km range for stand-in...

I think that Korkut is a very necessary sytem for important facilities but I also fear that we won't deploy it in facilities that are in or close to cities because our obsession with "collateral damage"

If the quoted 700km range of Süper Şimsek is true it would be "fired" from Anka-III well before it enters any contested air space so not fitting in the internal bay wouldn't be a problem. Süper Şimsek is more like a Loyal Wingman than a missile.

Honestly as long as Europeans buys it that might even be better. It can be a "export version" while we continue to use domestic versions

We don't know but I don't think there is any reason to doubt that Kara Atmaca can reach 400km that is well within the range estimate if you consider the differences with regular Atmaca. it has a more efficient engine, higher altitude ceiling and more fuel capacity.

Yes, last test was announced as ~400km and this one was announced as longest distance and flight time so far so this one was 400+ km. how much further it was from last one we don't know
