Morocco is a huge country of 710 850 km². We aspire to become a regional power and therefore, 1,000 tanks, and 1,000 IFVs are needed to elevate our ground forces to new capabilities, and firepower.

I hope we will end up with around 1 000 in total between Merkava, and M1 abrams by the end of the decade. The same applies to our IFV fleet.
