Understand completely Ted, however if you are the "spokesman'" for LM, let's not tease the "public" or forum members.

Care to keep the group informed Ted and share some of those pics & videos?

Nice image Ted however a 360 degree computer graphic view from LM would be better.

Canada Air-Force RCAF Legacy Hornet replacement program

As far as both the LM F35A AND the CSC Frigate projects go, it is not a forgone conclusion until the contracts are awarded and signed by LM & Irving shipyard. Any thing could happen as you well know and things could alter, so let's just wait and see.

Canada Air-Force RCAF Legacy Hornet replacement program

A contract has not yet been signed, so lets not put the "horse before the cart" just yet. We need only to look at the CSC Frigate decision and where it also stands!:cautious:

Flight of Icarus: Canadian company proposes multi-role tactical aircraft

Very interesting concept Nilgiri and probably what Canada needs in a piloted/autonomous aircraft (TAV), if we could ever get to over the 2% of GDP for defence spending. These TAVs would sell like "hot-cakes" too!! Cheers!

Canada Air-Force RCAF Legacy Hornet replacement program

Although that could be true Ted, the inexcusable delays by the Liberal government have put us where we are today! PM Trudeau will feel the pain of the Canadian people and the RCAF at the polls sooner than later!!

Canada Air-Force RCAF Legacy Hornet replacement program

Could not agree more Ryder!! And they are still throwing money at this program! Maybe we could get a credit for what we've sunk in thus far? I don't think so! The US is not that crazy!!

Canada Air-Force RCAF Legacy Hornet replacement program

Finally!! What took so long? After 10 years of wasting time and money!! We could have had these F-35's operational by now! What a waste!!

Canada Navy A WAKE-UP CALL FOR CANADA-RETHINKING OUR ARCTIC SSN POLICIES

Governments can change just as quickly as they came into power especially this government as you very well know. Priorities change just as quickly. We shall see what the next few months will bring. One thing is for sure though; under this government, defence spending will not increase to where...

Canada Navy A WAKE-UP CALL FOR CANADA-RETHINKING OUR ARCTIC SSN POLICIES

A more prudent energy policy is exactly what Canada needs right now. We should have Gas & Oil pipes going straight across the country.....but we don't. The oil fields of Alberta pipe lines go West to Vancouver to foreign tankers and East to Toronto and Montreal. They stop there. The Atlantic...

Canada Navy A WAKE-UP CALL FOR CANADA-RETHINKING OUR ARCTIC SSN POLICIES

Canada needs a real wake-up-call (or a kick in the pants) to get the government to sit up and smell the coffee or the Bovine Scatology it is shoveling and contribute our fair share to NATO. That requires a substantial increase to the DND budget of oh, let’s see….., 2% of GDP or more? Say, that’s...

Some may be surprised at what Canada may do next. "Charted" courses can be quickly altered.:sneaky:

Canada Navy A WAKE-UP CALL FOR CANADA-RETHINKING OUR ARCTIC SSN POLICIES

There is no "hope" involved with this Ted. Just "When". What Putin is doing in Ukraine and in the Arctic and what Germany has already acknowledged, make the acquisition of a Canadian SSN fleet more of an essential requirement now than ever before. I only hope that some would just wake up and...

Canada Navy Canada Surface Combatant (CSC) Program

Hi folks! Here is the latest update as of 04 March 2022 for the CSC Type 26 Frigate weapons & systems design. Notice that the number of MK 41 VLS Cells has been dropped to 24 Cells vice 32. Also the mast is much taller. The crew size seems to have increased as well from 204 to 208 personnel...

Did not know that about John Browns Body Joe. There was an actual John Brown I believe that was living during the American Civil War though. Nice to know.

I did not know that the torp mag on the British Type 26 was only for their EH 101's. Canada would never have an ASW ship Torp Mag that could not fire Torps from both on-board and for our "new" CH 148's. Our Halifax class has always had that capability.

Both my wife and I sing and it sure is a lot of fun & passes the time. We don't go so much now because of the "Gas" prices. We are at $1.77 per liter (CAD) and the Americans are up to over $5 US and ..... "they're" complaining? Diesel is at almost $2 per litre!!!
