1hr32nd minute;
Mete Yarar claims he knows and he is aware that the Aesa radars are being fitted on to Turkish F16’s.
Very bold and important claim.
If true, GREAT news!
That 15-16 m plane sounds like an indigenous 4++ gen f16 V80? (F16 length is 15.06m and the wingspan is 9.96m.)
But this is the logical way forward. One engine 2 planes.
Only reservation I would have is the fact that we need light attack planes with Aesa radar soon. Hurjet with a 20000+lbf...
No one has said that here! In fact if you investigate, you will find that the dv27k engine shares a lot of similarities with German engine. It took them over 2 years to crack through German machine and produce DV27K. They may have even used a number of German parts. (which we can not do)...
Taken from @boracetkin #883
@Eagleeye
If one cannot see the extensive similarities and how much of it so well copied, than one has to get their eyes tested.
But this does not detract from the fact that this engine is MADE IN TURKEY!
İ don’t believe that the likes of Osman Dur will tell “all” the truth. This administration is mad on 100% national/domestic brand.
The likeness of Doosan is so apparent that one has to be blind not to see it that Batu is a good copy of that engine. To do that without infringing on patents and...
Talking about twin engines; ts1400 core can be converted to a turbofan developing 8500-9500lbf thrust. That should be enough to power Hurjet as a trainer.
There is so much good and positive news coming regarding Hurjet. But there are three very important questions I would have liked the interviewers ask both Kotil and Demir :
1. Have we got the prototype engines in house?
2. What version of engine are we going to use?
3. And do we have guarantee...

Autonomous HisarA+ has good specs. But the most important and intriguing specification they have stated is the last one:
Ballistic protection.
That probably means it has ballistic missile hitting capabilities.
Man in charge finally declares; Batu engine start up successfully accomplished. 1500hp tank engine will be the starting block of our heavy engine industry. Experiences gained from this technology, will make it possible to produce marine engines with high power to fit in to smaller volumes where...

Barbaros and Gabya class are undergoing planned modernisations.
First step Aselsan ANS-510D Gyro system integration completed.
More to come!

Aksungur is aiming to reach 55km range with a KGK-82 guided winged ammo.
There were no Exports to Bengladesh for this sector, since April 2020. But in April 2021 56milion US dollars of exports have been realised for this sector.
J-IN20 version of the F404 engine is the highest thrust version of these engines. As they are currently supplying these 20200lbs thrust engines to India, they are available. It would make a good light attack aircraft out of Hurjet.
If Klimov RD93 is fitted on these planes then it means that western engines are no longer available to us and we may be looking at AL41 engines for TFX!
That is something , wishfully will not happen! But if it has to be, then it has to be!
