About S-400 I think it is too preliminary to say we don't need it.
In wartime a 380km range AD missile can come in very handy, for one it can create a no go zone for the enemy (unless they have drones like we do). We think too much that AD missiles are only used to down aircraft and tend to...
Sure you do have full right to criticize anything.
But I noticed you are not making critics but claims (out of the blue without any source or professional credibility). There are too many guys like you putting up claims without any credible backup
It cannot replace the S-400, and no one ever said such either.
S-400 system has missiles that reach 380km, while Siper is (currently) reaching 150km. But technology wise the Siper system did catch up and is radar wise arguably better. Also the Siper missiles have modern guidance systems.
The...
With your logic we also should not make a 5th generation fighter jet, make no helicopters etc.etc.
Empty talk is easy. The guys talking are actually involved in those projects. Sorry again but those are the authorities to listen to, no someone with underbelly feelings.
How do you know? How many engines have you made? Sorry, nothing personal against you but there are many people nowadays claiming so many things with their zero knowledge
If the highest authority on engines in Turkiye (prof Aksit) says something I rather believe his expertise. It is his...
LOL, who is making these? You Enderun? Could you put also some Kizilelma inbetween?
Actually what you do will freak out many, looks like the damn imperial army from starwars :)
TFx is a big ass plane, slightly bigger than F22, bigger than F15.
PS F15 has also the GE F110 engines.
TFx will do with the F110 engines but the eyed more powerful indigenous engines will make it a real fast beast
That is because it is not finished yet, it misses all kinds of sensors, protusions etc. that with production models will be added.
Compare it to a woman without makeup, with makeup she will look stunning!
Well the demonstrator is like the name says to demonstrate it is flyable. One can make all types of tests with weights added that represent radar, missiles etc.
A demonstrator is not a production ripe aircraft that can be used by the airforce. So yes there can be changes on the frame if needed.
No I do not think so.
Blk 0 is a demonstrator, same like Baykar uses the kizilelma demonstrator prototype.
Landing gears on demonstrators are not the main point and are often fixed, to avoid accidents on that part.
The Blk 10 will become the first production ready prototype
When planes are put next together one suddenly recognizes the differences.
TFx blk 0 has apparently no retractable aft wheels (we saw this also with drone prototypes)
interesting, at the 3rd second something like a flare is exploding .
It looks indeed like a helicopter used for special operations if it carries flares
