They are basically second rate frigates for making up the numbers. Old tech but viable and the 14 p17a and b frigates are the mainstay. Even the definition of frigates is being muddled by p17 having almost the same size as destroyers and the new corvettes being almost the size of talwars. So...

So basically like our talwar class frigates.
