I don't like politics. But I can make a guess.
This is a defense forum. So I should give an example from the defense industry. I can simply tell who will win with a photo: I don't think any further comment is needed.
Just a few days ago, we saw Atak II on the ground assembly line and TAI flew it a few days later.
MMU has been on the runway for about 1-1.5 months. And I think the surprise that TAI is talking about will be the first flight of MMU on May 1.
"Istikbal" is a famous furniture brand in Turkey. I don't think it will ever be "Istikbal". If this name is given, it will be the subject of a lot of jokes and humiliation of the project on social media. I hope they don't give it that name. (n)

For it to be a surprise, it has to be something unexpected. I think it wouldn't be a surprise since the name will already be given.
So you can call me "nonsense" but I think the "surprise" MMU will fly on May 1st.
Think about it, you bought an F-16 from America and it's called "American Star", not "Fighting Falcon". It is not possible for your people or the army that used that plane to like this name. Therefore, I think the name "Turkish Star" would be one of the worst choices for an airplane to be exported.
The biggest misfortune of TAI is that the ugly photos that were taken secretly before they had a chance to promote their products were served to the media. We experienced this in TFX as well. Until the high resolution photos are released.
Given the names of other planes and missiles, most of them have nothing to do with flying. (eg Raptor, Eurofighter, Rafale, Lightning, Siper, Hisar etc.)
I know, no one will take me into consideration about the name. But I still want to write.
I would like to suggest a name for our National Combat Aircraft (MMU) in terms of media, international promotion and the impression it will create in the world.

I don't know if you noticed, TFX has no HUD display. I guess the HUD screen will be reflected on the pilot helmet developed by Aselsan, as in the F-35. :)
In this respect, the TF-X is a different aircraft from the J-20 and SU-57.
As far as I know, ASELSAN "AVCI" Pilot Helmet for TF-X is still under development. (The Aselsan logo can be seen on the helmet. The photo was taken on the TAI T-129 ATAK helicopter.)
