Russian aircraft have very poor availability. Too bad we can't send them to Ukraine and get F-16s in return like some Eastern European countries have sent their Migs.
One of the big advantage of South Korea is that we don't have any territorial disputes with them.
Are we going to send Chinese made corvettes to confront China in the South China Sea?
South Korea and Japan should and probably do already have programs to develop the requirements for nuclear weapons. The goal should be to have the capability to have nuclear weapons ready for deployment very quickly if needed.
However as ratifiers of the nuclear non-proliferation treaty they...
Advanced Scorpène class derivatives always seemed like the best option for India given that the production line is already operational. Never understood why India seemed to want such large ocean going SSKs for the P-75I program when they also have an SSN program.
India's future 6 x Project-75...
China, India and Pakistan also send men and material to Myanmar. It's unfair to single out Russia alone.
Also the Russian nuclear project is worth billions and is vital to Bangladesh. If you want to antagonize Russia it's best to wait until that is done.

I've heard that China has some ship based ballistic missiles. Specifically the YJ-21 which can be launched from their destroyers.
Some of the ship launched anti-ballistic missiles like the SM-3 are large and can probably function as a ballistic missile themselves with some modification.
I think that for land based operations the predator proabably isn't worth the cost. The Aermericans might have very advanced sensors and radars and EW capabilities but you can get 3 or more cheaper drones with comparable endurance and payload for the price of 1 predator drone.
However for naval...
Myanmar operates mostly Mig29s with some JF-17s. Those are much cheaper and much less capable than eurofighters or rafale.
For Pakistan they are a national security state that is literally surviving on handouts from "friendly nations" and the IMF but can still find money for military...
India integrates both Brahmos and western systems on their ships so I don't think it would be that much of an issue. The biggest drawback of the Brhamos is its size and weight. The integration of anti-ship missile in general isn't usually that hard.
Starting off with a groud based jet and trying to convert it to a deck based fighter is almost always a bad idea. It is usually a better idea to design a deck based fighter and convert that for ground based operation. A new clean sheet design for a naval fighter using learning from the AMCA...
Good video on anti-ship missiles.
Smart stealth missiles like the LRASM or Naval Strike Missile seem like the best options for anti-ship missiles going forward.
Russian hyper-sonic cruise missiles like the 3M22 Zircon are impressive but their large size and weight means that a surface ship or...
Vietnam moving away from Russian weapons

"Vietnam strives to become more self sufficient, obtain advanced gear that Russia can't provide, and faces Western pressure to reduce arms...
How stealthy is the KFX? I've heard that the Koreans got a lot of help from LM on making the KFX stealthy. From the reports on air exercises from the US Air force it seems that 5th gen VLO aircraft absolutely dominate even advance 4th gen aircraft. I would be very wary of going up against 5th...
Both Aselsan and Roketsan started off as state owned companies. They are now publicly traded companies but I think both are still majority state owned.
The E7 has supposedly done missions in Iraq and Syria for over 17 hrs. Also having more operators can be a big advantage for managing an airspace.
Smaller plane means less operators, more crew workload and crew fatigue, less processing power(less space for server racks) and possibly less...
