I think the difference say between north vietnam or afghanistan, in both cases while they lost millions to the war, both the russians and americans maybe lost 10 to 20 thousand max. In this war if we exclude civilians many more russians are dying then ukrainians.

No doubts their fighting ability has been exceptional. But to go into that war with such spirit knowing at the time they were facing what was regarded as the second most powerful nation on earth. However you cut it is exceptionally impressive. I suspect most nations would tremble and collapse...

That's the kind of people you want to ally with and support. That character is unlikely to betray.

Turkey probably supported Ukraine less then 10% of the support they provided to Azerbaijan, but the Ukrainians seem hell of lot more grateful for Turkish support. Not seen one Ukrainian cry about Turks claiming the result of the conflict for themselves. Big respect to them.
