This is not in line with what Temel Kotil was preaching; First block of 4+ Genelation TFX being delivered in 2028-29 and having two planes per month production speed!
According to this timeline we will have to wait 14 years before we have a squadron of operational TFX, and the production rate is...
None as far as I know. Even though these missiles have disposable engines, they still cost quite a bit. To waste two at a time would be too extravagant! Never mind the weight and space restrictions they would have to tackle.
Gezgin is supposedly a cruise missile similar to US’s Tomahawk. Very long range subsonic missile that is powered by a disposable turbofan jet engine.
SOM is more akin to a Storm-Shadow or JSSM. These are “stand-off“ missiles like our SOM.
Storm shadow of MBDA is larger and heavier than SOM, low...
As @Sinan has said due to MTCR Turkey will not reveal and sell any missile more than 300 km range and 500 kg in explosive weight.
SOM, as it is, physically will not go 800 km. It's engine and fuel will be the limiting factors. If the engine is upgraded and the missile is enlarged to carry more...

According to Turkish authorities, Biden and his administration is looking at the F16 V70 request of Turkey, favourably.
But the Congress is another story! It may prove to be a very tough nut to crack.
If I am not mistaken, it is not the matter of US giving us codes for the planes. The matter is being able to do what you like with it without having any repercussions from LM or US, whereby we are infringing upon their IP rights or invalidating warranty conditions or breaking contractual rules.
I know there is a link. I understand Turkish. But the whole idea is to let non Turkish members to understand what you have posted. This is an important and critical piece of information worthy of our non Turkish members to read and learn. (Thanks for sharing by the way)

ALKA Network Enabled Weapon System concept has been introduced by Roketsan. @Spook had mentioned this during latest IDEF pages.
This is a very novel idea ; System’s radar finds the target, Electro-optical suite...
In view of the above statement, one can see which planes will be eligible for “Ozgur” modernisation with Aselsan Aesa radars.
Block 30s definitely are. But also all of the block 40 planes will be eligible gradually by 2025. Peace Onyx 2 block 50 planes will become eligible by 2027.
In light of recent developments with respect to Erdogan’s statement on Russian collaboration in Turkish defence products and F16s and V70 upgrade etc.;
May be we need to look at the Chinese example.
West is blocking all vital technology regarding aircraft and engine technology to the Chinese...
After Sochi, Erdoğan mentioned of a preliminary agreement of an extensive deal with Russia regarding fighter jet engines, War-Ships and Submarines.
Then we now learn of a “possible” request of purchase of 40 F16s in Block V70 with 80 existing ones being upgraded to V70.
Being devil’s advocate...
If memory serves, under FMS all F16 planes produced by Tusas, first goes to US then sold back to TurAF.
US means nearest US base to Turkey. So the plane after it is built at Tusas goes to a nearby US base and does a touch and go . Then returns back to Turkey.(in this case NAS Sigonella in Italy)...
Yes but;
Erdogan already spelled it out that they either give us the planes or our money.
But, having planes shows if US still wants to work with us or otherwise, they are totally on the other side of the fence.

Mr Demir has made some important points regarding our air defence program.
In his speech he has pointed out that an effective air defence system is a layered system. Hence al layers will have...
It is also important to consider the now forgotten rule of 7/10 ratio.
US will not over arm Turkey against Greece. Biden is a a lover of Greece. F15 will tip the balance.
But what Turkey is supposedly asking in this news is feasible and doable.
If US rejects such a request then the true...

Taken from “defence review.gr” , an interesting claim that Turkey has asked US for the purchase of 40 new F16V70 fighters and upgrading 80 of TurAF’s existing F16s to V70 level.
I don’t know the dependability of this site...
