My point is be careful with what we wish for. More VLS means more things that can break and need maintenance (one of the reason why western vessels aren't as weaponized as russian is, Western vessels are more maintainable). Is our Navy ready for that? And about IH, 48 VLS is enough for me.

Just error. Why bother use VLS for SSM if you just ended up with just 8 again?! Edit: Wait! 24 medium SAM + 32 long SAM + 8 SSM = 64 cells Just like what mado said! Then just put 64 cells VLS and we can make SAM + SSM combination whatever we want!!!
