Turkish Aesa radar will first be integrated on to Akinci this year and will be tested using Akinci as a test bed. Then in 2022 it will be tried on F16 block 30 planes first, before moving on to other blocks.
In last paragraph it...
What you are writing clearly shows that you are stuck like record player on the same thing and don’t seem to understand or don’t want to understand that TEI uses single crystal blades on both TS1400 and T700.
By the way ; I am not you “buddy” !

According to news coming from various Turkish press sites, the agreement on the delivery of second portion of the S400 missile system purchased, is almost finalised.
New delivery will involve missiles of the system being manufactured in...
Very good interview with Prof Aksit.
He explains about the mid section of the 2000shp T700 engine. How TEI engineers managed to produce a 300+ piece mid section unit with a 3D printer as a single piece. This in it’s own right is a groundbreaking technological advancement of Turkish turbine...
T129 is using CTS800 Honeywell. But the proposed replacement , T626 probably will use militarised TS1400.
T929 will initially be using Ukrainian MotorSich engine shown here two days ago. In serial production though a 3000hp engine (TS3000) will be flying this helicopter.
You talk as if no one knows what you are talking about. TEI is currently producing 238 T700 helicopter engines for GE. More than 60% of this engine is being produced locally including the turbine blades. This is is a 2000shp engine and the TEI engines carry GE badges on them. So they know what...
During the second day of IDEF , TEI signs a MOU with GE on the production of LM2500 and L500 gas turbines in TEI/Turkey.

@Lonewolf ‘s approach to the whole argument is too pedantic and far too critical.
Looking at the specs given for the single crystal blades for a specific end use, he is making assumptions and generalising whilst looking down on what the Turkish engineers have achieved.
For a small engine like...
Do we know if a working prototype has been tested? If it is to be fitted on Akinci this year and on a F16 next year, that must be the case. But wouldn’t hurt to have it confirmed!
Also I don’t think the same unit will be used for Akinci and F16. What would the differences be?
Just look at those systems with our flag. With this amount of indigenous equipment ready to go on the ship, it is going to be the pride of every Turk.
I can’t wait to see this ship sailing in our seas.
Well spotted! After I wrote this list. I went back to the video and thought it looked a bit bare on the mast!
Unless they are going to add an Aesa based radar or use a separate radar carrier, these weapons really won’t mean much.
edit:
Aesa radar is one of the costliest equipments on a any...
I have counted:
1 x 76mm gun
2 x Stamp
1 x Gokdeniz
1 x quad Umtas
2 x Quad-packed VLS
8 x AShM
Feel free to add.
This is better equipped than Ada Class corvettes.
These are the guys who developed a super-critical CO2 reclamation unit for AIP submarines. By using this method they claimed to be able to increase the under water time of an AIP sub to nearly 90 days.
Still a dark horse as far as what they produce and sell. But seems to be working on the right...
Land launched Atmaca is to have a range in excess of 280km. No ship is safe in Aegean. But more importantly almost whole of Greece’s eastern seaboard is potential target for this missile. Full stop!
More reason for Yannis to cry out, “wolf” !

Well, missiles in LEVENT are the Sungur ER missiles.
so your wish is granted.
As this is going to be our RAM alternative, the missiles should have around 10 km range.
I know that there are more choices in marine diesels.
Mind you, MAN is German too I think. Finnish Warstila may be swayed to German way. But as you say there are others. On the gas turbine area we are more restricted with GE and RR. We know that Indian navy uses Ukrainian gas turbines on some of...
My only concern with our ship building is the lack of our marine Diesel engine production capability.
If pushed, we may have to expose our naval force more in Eastern Mediterranean. This may lead to difficulties on our MTU marine Diesel engine supply from Germany.
We really need our own marine...
There is composite armour underneath ERA plates. As the name suggests ; Explosive Reactive Armour means it is not actually the main body of the tank. Each plate reacts independently against the kinetic energy it is subjected to. And explodes when hit by an ATGM.
Nothing on top of the ERA plates...
