Why not UMTAS? I mean it is same warhead as MAM-L right? This would also give it nice range, UMTAS-GM etc. It would be the higher end more expensive option.
If a handful of anti ship cruise missiles did end up hitting it, that could disable the facilities needed for planes to take off and land and force the ship to get back for repairs. You don't need to sink it. And if you manage to hit propulsion system with a torpedo, it will have to be towed.
I think all these are too big and expensive for what they do. The thing with any platform that is going to be used as some form aircraft carrier the most valuable thing is surface area of the deck for more aircraft. You could instead go for a smaller destroyer with slightly larger hangar for 2-3...

Don't forget we are actively using Gabya class for AAW duties in Libya, and TF2000 are meant to replace those. It is already part of our operations, TF2000 is there to modernize and extend that capability.
