Well it is also related to intakes, F-15EX with same engines can go lot faster than 1.8mach, but has a variable ramp, F-22 also has it but it affects RCS iirc
Well, at this photo KF-21 had her engine integration etc, maybe we can see a photo like this in January, engine integration for TF-X is planned around this December
in all the aircraft I have seen, they do not open facing towards the nose but the other, backwards?
Why's that?
Also sorry for not so well structured sentences, I am not in a desirable situation rn
my guess is an auxiliary air intake for high AoA manuevers in which normal intakes would not be able to supply air into the engine and would lead into stall, thus allowing aircraft to perform much tighter maneuvers
if not these, it could be an APU exhaust
Man I am worried now about TF-X prototype, even though it is better than Kızılelma someone will find a small flaw or whine about some testing equipment later on...
First thing is a moving part, probably for APU or auxiliary intake for high AoA manuevers.
And this is a prototype, most of these are testing equipment and some temporary solutions from Akıncı platform, final product will be lot different, look at X-35/F-35 or even first prototypes of F-35
