5 gen definition doesn't undersell KAAN's work or ambition.
5th gen isn't strict term in itself. F35 and J20S are both going to control loyal wingman.
Unlikely, given those very few countries (that are building 'next gen' platforms) doesn't have any less credibility in defence aviation...
You know these missiles are accurate. A lot of work has been put into this for more than a decade.
And So is the AESA sensor and the whole fire control architecture.
The validation of missile, electronics and the platform working together in a perfect harmony to deliver an effect at this level...
There is another video from a different angle where it seems something poped inside the engine right before it start rolling down. Maybe a bird strike...Idk. but seemed like a little explosion.
I think AKREP-1000G can perform both search and track in emergency situation (where primary search radar is out of commission) as it is in principle a Multi-function AESA array.
This test was meant to demonstrate that.
Atleast this is what I understood from @Sanchez 'blinded' unit level...
It isn't particularly bad for us that India chose a non-cooperative stance by providing refuge to Hassina despite having a bilateral treaty to extradite convicted criminals.
I don't want to be overly critical. Aselsan makes excellent subsystems. but the build quality of the airframe itself needs to be improved by Baykar. To the level you see with TAI's KAAN prototype.
It's about the scale of the solution needed I think. Turkish army ordered 14 Korkut systems (with 42 firing units) in total along with existing GDF gun modernised by Aselsan. All of them are already delivered. (Korkuts)
There were no addition orders for Korkut afaik. At least from publicly...
They usually don't do it unless it is in service.
J-35 (its early prototype) was flying for years.
But this one is from few months ago after it entered service with PLAAF.
Looks like China has become the first country to operationalize this type of UCAV. I was focused on Anka-3 and KE as they are both going through active tests unlike any other, and forget about GJ-11 as it was from a decade ago.

This is what @Flextape was talking about a year ago or so. I wonder if there will be any AD system procurement soon for newly raised Air Defence Corps.
