Does an Aesa radar has to be perfect circle or square? No! It can be rectangular, octagonal or ellipsoidal. In fact most are rectangular. I measured that area under the air intake to be over 110cm wide. Under air intake the plane is quite plump. They altered a lot of measurements in Kaan P1...

According to Aselsan they are working on an Aesa radar for Anka 3. Within this framework, MURAD 100-A AESA Nose Radar provides electronic beam steering and simultaneous air-to-air and air-to-ground engagement capabilities, including Beyond Visual Range missile guidance. The radar has...

Well, according to below article an Aesa radar is to be fitted on to Anka3. https://turdef.com/article/aselsan-to-integrate-murad-100-a-radar-on-anka-iii-ucav As per your above points made ; ASELSAN did not provide details on the integration timeline or modifications, but judging from MURAD...

Bro, I know you mostly take everything here from a political perspective and analyse it accordingly, adding your views to it. That is probably why I am not very keen on most of the stuff you post. (I just don’t like politics. Nothing to do with you) Having said that, I think this is the best...

USS Gerald Ford Key Timeline Milestones August 2005: Advance construction and ceremonial steel cutting began at Newport News Shipbuilding. September 2008: The U.S. Navy awarded the primary construction contract to Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding. November 14, 2009: The ceremonial keel was laid...

All very valid points. But don’t discount KE’s stealth capability. It may not be as stealthy as an Anka-3 or F35. But it should be stealthier than any 4th generation jet fighter like F16Block72, Rafale or even EF. I would forget about dog fighting for quite sometime yet. At least until AI...

Re Nursultan Nazarbayev Throughout his time as the first President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev maintained a staunchly secular stance against the adoption of Arab-style Islamic clothing—including the headscarf (hijab)—arguing that it is alien to Kazakh national traditions. No one...

Please refrain from discussing discriminatory religious topics. Everyone’s belief is his own. No one should question that. Also no one should expect his or her beliefs to take precedence. Every country has a legislative system with which its population is governed. That has to be respected. Be...

https://news.lockheedmartin.com/2026-10-09-Lockheed-Martin-Debuts-PAC-3-Edge-TM-for-the-U-S-Armys-Innovative-Future-Interceptor-Program May be related to above title or not. But Lockheed Martin’s new PAC-3 Edge missile developed from PAC-3 MSE is to give solution to intercepting problems of...

Carriers are extremely well built and over engineered vessels. Particularly the US super carriers are behemoths of their class. They are so well compartmentalised that sinking them is not easy with conventional bombs. Nothing short of a nuclear attack can sink them outright. In 2005 it took 4...

Why the 2-Knot "Drifting" Test is Absolutely Significant: The major and most important hurdle for an AShM is not the target's top speed. It is the fact that the target is not stationary like a land coordinate. Conventional ballistic missiles fly to predetermined GPS or inertial coordinates...

Well, it to me too was a bit of a mystery. But Tayfun Block 3 hit a sea target at very high impact speed. The target in question was only 7m in length and very narrow fishing boat freely moving with currents at around 2 knots (that is verified as Black Sea current speeds). That is drifting at a...

Delving deeper into Tayfun Block 4: As Roketsan is getting ready to introduce this missile in to TSK inventory this year, it is important to look at some facts and deduce some calculated guesstimates. F If we look at the various statements and foreign write ups on this missile called Tayfun...

https://turdef.com/article/siper-2-air-defence-missile-enters-serial-production As mentioned above, Roketsan‘s and Aselsan’s Siper 2 missile systems with 150+km range and 30+ km altitude have started serial production runs. As deliverable quantities are reached they will become part of the TSK...

KUZGUN-KY (Solid Fuel / Rocket-Powered): Good for high-speed tactical strikes under a minute, successfully tested from unmanned surface vessels (AUSV) like the MARLIN. KUZGUN-SS (Free Gliding): Designed for standoff deployment from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) like AKINCI and Aksungur...

Although there has not been any new “breaking news” on Kuzgun range of missiles,it doesn’t mean that they are forgotten. Tubitak Sage site clearly shows them as valid munitions. https://www.sage.tubitak.gov.tr/en/uav-munition/kuzgun/ Tubitak has been busy with testing and integrating SOM-J and...

Listen to that guy called Ozay Sendir after 8.00 Apparently he has extensive reach to defence industry top guns and politicians related to it, together with top administrators. Real Insider. He says ; not just 1200+ engineers at TEI ! But a large contingency of engineers from outside with...

All modern western jet engines use single crystal turbine blade technology. Russian engines up until AL-51-F1 engine in SU57, used directionally solidified crystal blades. Directionally solidified crystal blades are formed in layers of crystalline lattices. During extreme heat and rotational...

Kizilelma has successfully fired a BVR a2a missile with a hit on a fast moving air target. First of it’s kind in the world. It has used it’s IWBs for air to ground stand off bombing albeit with some level of improvement still to be made. (Tolun glide bomb)

Kizilelma was designed and is predominantly for air combat. It is not going to be as stealthy as an Anka-3. It will be good for BVR engagements against 4th and 4.5 generation fighters with our F16s in the background. As a bomber it can be used only in less contested airspace and/or with stand...
