TR Air-Force TF-X KAAN Fighter Jet

This is great news. Finally we have sight of P1 Kaan. They need to hurry up and fly this asap and produce the P2 and P3 subsequently as well so that all relevant testing procedures are completed before end of 2027 or latest by mid 2028. Then we need to start LRIP cycle to get some Block10...

Iris-T missile systems that consist of air to air, surface to air are built by mainly German technology behind it. Namely DIEHL defence Systems. Rheinmetal for artillery systems, MTU /RR engines for marine use and heavy armoured vehicles, MTU aero engines (derived from old BMW aero engines)...

This agreement has to be looked at from an opposite perspective. It was set up to circumvent Japan’s certain constitutional legislations and obligations, and make it possible to export the jet fighter, rather than a way to block sales. Veto conditions have been lifted. So none of the member...

TR Air-Force TF-X KAAN Fighter Jet

My take on the subject is quite different. Apparently Japan has certain reservations which has been included in the export sales of the jets to be produced. The GCAP consortium partners (UK, Italy, and Japan) have not agreed to a blanket "no-block" policy on all export sales. Instead, they...

Then come clean and say outright that the 7 ships allocated for Turkish navy will NOT be sold; in stead of beating around the bush. No one believes them after the way they sold TCG Akhisar to Romania.

Russians keep saying their engines are ready to be serially produced. But still use AL41-F1S engines on SU57s. check out these latest photos. Russians showed this engine in a recent air show as the izdeliye117S. The nozzle had serrated edges. Then Russians were testing an engine recently...

I would like to be corrected if I am wrong. But as far as I know, Izdeliye 30 is the name of the main engine of the SU57 while it was being developed in to AL51-F1. (24000lbf dry and 38000lbf wet thrust). This engine is for Russian use only. Izdeliye177S is basically the AL41-F1S engine using...

There are many flaws in your “personal points of view” . First of all there are no friends when it comes to international relations. Today’s friends are tomorrow‘s enemies. Israel was upgrading our tanks and our f4 fighter jets for us not long ago. Now they are seeing us as a major enemy. Egypt...

It is easy to criticise the manufacturers. But before doing so, one should look in to why manufacturers of military jet engines concentrate on 6000lbf dry and 10000lbf wet thrust level engines, Motor Sich, Rolls Royce, Honeywell and TEI all have gone for this level of thrust. 6,000 lbf...

Don’t start me on that again! what is the point of laying down hulls if you are going to sell them before your own needs are met? Subs: We are building 4 Reis Class and 1 Milden at the moment. Reis Class ship are going to be delayed by nearly a decade by the time they are finished. The contract...

Launching takes place before critical fitting out and sea trials; then delivery to the force inventory. Remember navy has to carry out acceptance tests. All this can take up to 1.5 to 2 years (In our case may be even longer). Here is TCG Akdeniz . Nothing fitted on the mast and no gun yet. But...

Bro, forget about our government knowing all! That is what we are discussing here. Just read the posts related to this subject and use your own intelligence to decide if we have enough ships or not. You don’t need to be a member of government to see if 2+2 is 4. You have Russian fleet in...

I think you have put your finger on a really sore point!. And you are in essence very correct; Apart from TCG Istanbul, TCG Anadolu and 4 Milgem Ada Class ships, as combatants, TCG OrucReis has been through MLU and brought up to modern standards. But 4 x Gabya class ships without VLS and even...

Sorry but, that doesn’t make any sense. Can you please explain it in clear English? If need be, write it in your own language then have it auto translated on line in to English so that what you are trying to say is eligible. Because I’d be damned if I understood anything from what you have...

All 4 ships either filmed earlier in sea trials or in heavy seas on their way to Germany. If it is the latter, they must have had fairly rough journey. That 27000 ton assault ship is bopping up and down to make most people sick just watching it.

In view of this information, all I can say is that selling those two almost ready İstif Class ships to Indonesia is a treasonous act. You don’t sell your best assets when your arch enemy is buying 4 (possibly 8) large belhara frigates like there is no tomorrow. Money isn’t everything.
