I think, that scene is from Polatlı, i have seen nothing in Çankaya. That said, i have never heard a Sandstorm in Turkey before....wonder from where all these sands came?

Depends on how you get it, the surrounding part is crunch, inner parts are soft and usually cut small, so you don't need to chew it a lot.
All issues between EU and Turkey has emerged because of kokoreç... they tried to ban it.

The dish seems to be popular all around the Balkans but is the taste like rubbery like I know kidneys and liver are like almost like rubbery
