A Turkish Air Force general and football fan attempted to use F16 fighter jets to intimidate the opposing team.

An interesting incident occurred on April 21 of this year during the Turkish Cup quarterfinal match between Konyaspor and Fenerbahçe. Turkish Air Force Major General Mete Kuş, an ardent Konyaspor fan, launched fighter jets and helicopters over the stadium during the match. Apparently, he wanted to put pressure on the Fenerbahçe players.

The fighter jets and helicopters did indeed fly over the stadium, and the sound of their engines was even heard live on television. Furthermore, one fan filmed the helicopters flying over the stadium on his mobile phone.

It is unclear whether the general succeeded in intimidating the opposing players, but Konyaspor, the team Mete Kuş supported, won the match 1-0. However, the incident did not go unnoticed by the command; The general was removed from his post as commander of the Konya airbase and transferred to the Air Force Headquarters in Ankara. They say it was a punishment.

Fenerbahçe was lucky the general wasn't an artillery commander. 🙂

NOT: Vileda sopası güvenliğine takılmış, sokmammışlar fuar alanına 😆
He failed to say that he himself mentioned many moons ago that the TF35k engine will hit 43k. Just because the engine is shown by MSB Arge does not mean it is them who is making the engine. I have a hunch that this engine carcas is one of the early engine builds used by TEI to test their engine parts on.

Good thing this time it is not Eray Güçlüer but Mesut Hakkı Caşın who said he heard a 50k lbf engine is in the works.

Connecting the dots.

Who is this guy?
We need to hear from officials of MSB ARGE, itherwise everything here is just wishful thinking and speculations.
My assumption is that this hard-to-believe engine is just a concept of something possible in the future given the proper finance and time.
