No idea. If they got arrested for it then it would definitely be an outrage. If Turkiye was at war with Greece then it would be another matter. If a Greek unfurled an EOKA flag in the Ayasofya then by all means, throw his ass in jail.

The Member for Adelaide, Steve Georganas, has written to Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong urging her to intervene in the case of a Greek Australian man and his Greek cousin who were arrested in Turkey after unfurling a Greek flag inside Hagia Sophia.

Lmaooooo the audacity of these greeks to cry victim needs to be studied.

The Greek flag is an official and legitimate flag, but displaying it inside Hagia Sophia is provocative. Still, arresting someone over it seems like a rather harsh decision.
