Since the COVID-19 outbreak in southern Vietnam localities, together with carrying out training and combat readiness missions, the officers, pilots and technicians of Air Force Brigade 918 of the Air Defense - Air Force Service have conducted flights to transport personnel, necessities and medical equipment to reinforce pandemic prevention and control efforts of front-line forces in the region.

All preparation of the unit’s personnel for transport missions usually starts at four in the morning. Before loading packages onto cargo compartments, aircraft are technically double-checked by technicians to ensure safe flights.

Below are some photos reflecting Air Force Brigade 918’s preparation for a flight to transport personnel, goods and medical equipment to southern localities.
