I hope we turn more towards the West, especially with Germany,,,,As far as I know, Germans have greatly contributed to the development of the Turkish defense industry

Any particular reason why Algeria has such a powerfull military? I mean there doesnt seem to be many regional threats to Algeria and its overkill for assymetric threats such as terrorists.

Because of Morocco and those stand behind it such as France and Arab Gulf states who try to destabilize Algeria and split it up

i hate BMP-2. a single 14.5 or 20mm ammunition can go through it.. i said it several times and it was really bad in Karabagh war too.. even 12.7mm ammunition went through as both side used siper with that ammunition.. i wish you also upgraded the armor, but you also need to upgrade the engine for that..

No,It is currently used only as a tank hunter and they won't develop it further , cuz Its time is over , probably we will wait for the russian kurganets 25 to replace it or even the german puma Since we have already got the Fox-2 and Boxer

There is a good reason why Algeria is moving more toward the West,for 50 years Algeria bought arms from the Russians, but during this period the Russians never granted Algeria the right to manufacture weapons , But during the short period of cooperation with the West .. we find today 3 German companies in Algeria, Mercedes Benz for trucks and engines, Hansoldt for electronic systems and Rheinmetall Defense for armored vehicles ... As for Italy, by 2022, the Augusta Westland Algeria plant will start assembling and manufacturing Leonardo helicopters. In Algeria..and the same goes for China and Serbia and UAE, who are transferring defense technology to Algeria...So what did the Russians give Algeria During those years?
