Lieutenant-General Said Shangriha, Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, arrived on, October 10, 2021, at Belgrade Airport, at the head of a military delegation, where he was received by Serbian Minister of Defense Nebojsa Stefanovic, accompanied by a number of officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ambassador of Algeria in Belgrade to attend the activities of the tenth edition of the International Exhibition of Arms "Partner - 2021".

On Monday, October 11, 2021, the Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, Lieutenant-General Al-Saeed Shanfriha, held talks with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Neboša Stefanovic.
The Lieutenant-General addressed the encouraging steps taken by the Algerian-Serbian military cooperation relations on more than one level, and the shared ambition of the two parties in order to promote them more and more, which heralds a promising future for military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, and the prospects for its development in all fields. After that, Mr. Lieutenant-General visited the Military Academy, which is specialized in training engineering officers, where he listened to a comprehensive presentation on this Serbian training edifice and the curricula that it adopts.Then he met with the Algerian officers stalking the academy to revive in them the spirit of commitment recognized by the framers, noting that the reputation that our People's National Army has attained is derived from its experience and the professionalism of its members.The Lieutenant-General stressed the need to benefit from theoretical and applied knowledge that would enhance their competencies in their future tasks.

On the second day of the official visit to the Republic of Serbia, Lieutenant-General Said Shanfriha, Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, received on, October 12, 2021, by the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, who took this opportunity to deliver him a written message by Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune The President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defense, conveyed his greetings personally and to all the friendly Serbian people.
The meeting, which was attended by the Ambassador of Algeria in Belgrade and the accompanying military delegation, and on the Serbian side, the Minister of Defense and Chief of Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, the Ambassador of Serbia in Algeria and the President and General Manager of "Yugoimport"
The Lieutenant-General had attended the official opening ceremony of the 10th edition of the International Arms Fair "Partner-2021", which was supervised by Mr. Aleksandar Vucic, President of the Republic of Serbia.
After the opening ceremony, the team and the accompanying delegation toured the exhibition sections and got acquainted closely with the various weapons and modern weapons systems on display.
Where he listened to adequate explanations and presentations by representatives of producing companies about the weapons and armament systems that Algeria intends to acquire and manufacture locally.

On the third day of the official visit to the Republic of Serbia, Lieutenant-General Said Shangriha, Chief of Staff of the National People's Army, had a meeting with Mr. Nenad Miloradovic, Assistant Minister of Defense of Serbia for Material Resources, where they discussed ways to develop the partnership between the armies of the two countries, and signed several contracts for joint manufacturing and transportation technology, and then toured various pavilions of the International Exhibition of Arms "Partner-2021".
The Lieutenant-General also visited a factory for the production of armored vehicles and artillery belonging to the Serbian complex "Yugoimport", where he visited the various workshops and closely examined all production stages, where I gave him and the accompanying delegation full explanations of the various products of the complex. The team also had a working session with the president and general manager of the "Yugoimport" complex in the presence of his tires, where the team confirmed that the high command of the National People's Army pays all the necessary attention and care to cooperation with the Serbian armed forces and the defense industry sector in Serbia in order to raise it to a more privileged level. , in terms of quality and size.

the relations with serbia are always cordial and dates back to the defunct communist yugoslavia , they have an advanced industrial base and produces a lot of high tech equipment , the serbs might be the ideal partner to start a local aviation industry since they have the know how to design and produce indegenious designs such as the G-4 super galeb and the J-22 Orao .... i would love to see this aircraft produced in algeria .
