Zengezur corridor will provide new link between Turkey and Azerbaijan
After the Azerbaijani army liberated its occupied territories with a 44-Day War, the region entered into a process in which economic revival will take place, with the introduction of the tripartite declaration signed between Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, thanks to new transport lines.
According to the statement, All economy and transport lines that have been closed for nearly 30 years due to the Karabakh conflict will be opened. During this process, the transportation line, which Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has repeatedly referred to as the "zengezur corridor", came to the fore.
Although Zengezur is a historical Azerbaijani land once inhabited by a Muslim Turkish population, it was annexed to Armenia by the Soviet Union in the 1920s and today it is within the borders of Armenia. Azerbaijan lost its land connection with Nakhchivan with the granting of zengezur to Armenia.
The lack of a direct land connection between Nakhchivan and the western parts of Azerbaijan has always been a challenge to the Baku administration. 9 of the truce signed with the defeat of Armenia in the 44-Day War. his article was about the transportation corridors to be established in the region.
Azerbaijan is intensively continuing the projects that it has started rapidly on its territory in order to implement the Zangezur corridor, where land and rail transport will be carried out.

Some parts of this line from Khoradiz to the Armenian border were destroyed during the Armenian occupation, while some parts were left under the waters of the dam. Therefore, a new 166-kilometer railway line will be built from Khoradiz to Ordubad province of Nakhchivan.
Azerbaijan and Russia will negotiate for the construction of a 43-kilometer section of the line that will pass through the Armenian part, Zengezur region. The reason why Azerbaijan will meet with Russia, not Armenia, is because the ownership of Armenian Railways belongs to Russia.
The 158-kilometer line from ordubad to Velidag station, located north of Nakhchivan, close to Turkey, Armenia and Iran, will be extensively repaired. The line, which ends in velidag, will be extended 14 kilometers to the Armenian border.
Armenia will be able to connect its railway line from Baku to Khoradiz and from Khoradiz to the north of Nakhchivan if it decides to contribute to the search for peace in the region and participates in these transport projects. In this way, Armenia will be able to get uninterrupted transportation to Russia and Iran.
In parallel with the railway line, there are also land lines on the same routes. Azerbaijan has started the Ahmetbeyli-Horadiz-Mincivan-Agbend highway project, which will extend to Zengezur, and the project is moving quickly.
On the other hand, Turkey and Azerbaijan have a railway line project that will connect Kars to Nakhchivan. When all of these projects are realized, a new transport link will be established between Turkey and Azerbaijan. At the same time, uninterrupted land and railway communication will be provided between Turkey and Russia through Azerbaijan.

Hazar University faculty member Dr. Telman Nüsretoğlu stated that the most important article of the agreement signed between Azerbaijan, Armenia and Russia on November 10, 2020 is the article on the land connection of Nakhchivan and the western parts of Azerbaijan.
Nüşretoğlu explained the importance of zergezur corridor as follows:
"It is very important to connect Nakhichevan and Other Lands of Azerbaijan, and to open the Zangezur corridor to restore land and railway connections between Turkey and Azerbaijan and other Turkish Republics. The revitalization of the historic Silk Road, China's 'One-Generation One-Way' project, regional cooperation and revitalization of trade are also corridor life. The interests of Russia, Turkey and Azerbaijan also overlap in this issue. Through this corridor, Russia can further strengthen its ties with Armenia, Iran and Turkey. Armenia can trade with Russia on Azerbaijan with the opening of the corridor. Lets not forget how reliant they were on Russia for decades the Armenians believed Russia would protect them not realising only Armenia not the territories that they were occupying. They also underestimated Azerbaijans resolve for them it was personal I remember a lot of Azerbaijanis saying even if it takes 1000 years to take Karabag back we will take it back. Azerbaijan did not forget it one bit not to mention the fires were burning strong for decades to get revenge.
Azerbaijanis armed themselves also set up an arms industry not to mention their relations with Turkiye and Israel paid off. Azerbaijanis lobbied hard for Karabag to be recognised as occupied territory by the Armenians which breaks international law.
Armenians were breaking every rule and law in the book and this worked to Azerbaijans advantage.
Armenians are arrogant and entitled they believe the world has to fight their battles and wars not to mention their religious fanaticism that these lands belong to them as it was ordained by God. Even today they cant accept that they lost are still defiant about it I mean they even want to restart the war.
Armenians are a lost cause they will never quit until they complete their Greater Armenia dreams even with a crappy economy and and a outdated military they still believe it will be achieved. I mean Armenians are doing whatever they can to leave their country they are even illegally migrating to Turkey the same country which they hate and despise.
Its easy for the disapora to bring back dreams of their so called Armenian Empire ran by Tigran. But reality says otherwise. Empires and kingdoms come and go along with land. Armenians just cant accept this fact.
Their self entitlement has also pissed off a lot of people around the world because they too have had enough of it.

Armenian gov believes "Artsakh" is a separate country and doesn't count dead soldiers of Artsakh that is where the trickery is happening. Armenia is only counting losses of the Armenian Armed Forces. Even then they are hiding dead soldiers here and there.
