Today from 10:30 in the morning Turkish Air Force F-16 fighters scrambled from the Ganja airport of the Republic of Azerbaijan and were supporting airborne attacks of Azerbaijani Su -25 and Turkish-made Bayraktar assault drones from Dalyar airport of Azerbaijan in the direction Armenian settlements and land military units of the Republic of Armenia situated in Vardenis, Mets Masrik, Sotk regions (Vardenis, Republic of Armenia). During this period, the own aviation was performing combat tasks providing fire support to units of Air Defense Forces of the Republic of Armenia. While performing a combat mission in an aerial engagement the Armenian SU-25 Fighter was hit by an F-16 multifunctional fighter of the Turkish Air Forces in the air space of Armenia. The pilot, unfortunately, died heroically.

The Turkish F-16 multifunctional fighter, according to the flight data recorder, was located at a depth of 60 km, at an altitude of 8200 meters.

Man, these videos are grim. I pity the men inside these machines. Really the worst way to go when you think about it. Hoping when all this is over serious scrutiny and study is done and lessons are learnt from this conflict.

Even though I am a Turk I don’t just feel sad for the losses our guys have... In some way I feel sad about the young conscripts who die on the Armenian side too. In the end we are all humans and they have families and mothers too.
Indeed War is hell and it takes out the worst qualities in humans but that’s how it is I guess.

PS I have never felt sorry for any PKK/YPG/ISIS rat though. Those bastards are worth less than cockroaches anyway.

Indeed very disturbing. Remember both armies use conscripts. 18-19-20 years old,they are still kids. All armchair generals and call of duty players on twitter (etc.) should have a "taste" of how war is really.

If i am not mistaken Armenia was the first to publish images/videos of the deceased soldiers, Azerbaijan has done the same later. Which is not really good in code of the war.
The dead should be treated with manners.

Turkish side are doing what they are trained for. I am sorry but If these young Armenians are shaking with fear, It is all about ill and wild politic ambitious of their state who is insisting on keeping Azerbaijani lands in their hands forever. These guys accept even some Eastern Turkish cities as their future lands and they are bringing the Turkish soils in Armenia and exhibiting them to keep their ambitious alive. What can you do with these people apart of kicking them with force when correct time came? There is no room for emotion in war. Otherwise, our nation may fall into very dangerous situation. None of these people would have a mercy If they catch a chance so we should train them with force.
