There was an amazing sense of fortitude in his steady gaze, his inert body. He's alive and not dead. That's about all he's got. We were both in tears as I stroked his arm gently and somehow managed to get the words out "দেশের জন্য তোমরা যা দিয়েছো, দেশ কোনোদিন ভুলবে না". I hope we can keep that promise.
