The GÖKBERK system stands out as a directed energy air defense weapon system designed to provide a defense solution against near-field air threats. The system's primary areas of application include land platforms, power plants, critical facilities, and headquarters buildings. Target destruction is achieved using a 10 kW laser source on the system, while the guidance unit contains electro-optics and sensors that allow the system to operate 24 hours a day. The system's effective target set includes fixed-wing and rotary-wing UAVs, as well as improvised explosive devices.

Ahmet Akyol stated that the 10-kilowatt version of GÖKBERK offers an optimal solution, especially in areas where collateral damage is undesirable, such as city centers, factories, facilities, and military bases, and that the system is nearing its entry into service.

ASELSAN's EJDERHA 210 High-Power Microwave Weapon System uses high-power electromagnetic wave technology to neutralize mini/micro UAVs, particularly those attacking in swarms. With its range doubled, the EJDERHA has been transformed into a self-contained system thanks to its integrated new radar, advanced electro-optical systems, and increased jamming effect.

Ahmet Akyol stated that the EJDERHA 210 is now specifically designed to counter swarm drone threats and incorporates its own radar. He explained that the system tracks swarm drones using radar and electro-optical sensors and neutralizes their electronic circuits with an electromagnetic beam. Akyol said, “It’s a system that neutralizes swarm drones on the spot, regardless of make or model. We will see it in the Turkish Armed Forces inventory in mass production next year. We are showcasing it here for the first time as a game-changing system in the world.”
