Those are not the only trouble, there is actually more. EM guns will not be feasible for sometime, but when the time comes we should be ready to adapt to it.
Issues to start with;
Electricity demand,
Magnetization of the hull,
Guidance of hypersonic munitions,
Consistency of firepower,
Maintenance interval and cost.

DIRCM is good to start with in my opinion.

ALKA Network Enabled Weapon System concept has been introduced by Roketsan. @Spook had mentioned this during latest IDEF pages.
This is a very novel idea ; System’s radar finds the target, Electro-optical suite follows it through, then what one can call a “belt and braces” technique is used whereby the target is first subjected to electromagnetic energy to disable it with soft-kill method, then a laser is directed to make sure the target is eliminated by hard-kill.
The laser weapon has an effective range of 750 metres.
The system has a very fast reaction time and uses AI interface to cancel any mistakes.
Following test and acceptance trials it is already in TSK inventory.

Transvaro HPEM 18S High Power Electromagnetic Generator UGV

TRV-HPEM18S system is a remote controlled robot vehicle with a High Power Electromagnetic Generator (HPEM :High Power Electromagnetics) and a Wide Band antenna as payload.

The system creates a very high amplitude electric field and broadcasts this electric field in pulses using its broadband antenna. This field neutralizes IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) that are ready for detonation by rendering them inoperable or activates them in a controlled manner.
