The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force (USAF).

Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. Over 4,600 aircraft have been built since production was approved in 1976.

The Fighting Falcon's key features include a frameless bubble canopy for good visibility, side-mounted control stick to ease control while maneuvering, an ejection seat reclined 30 degrees from vertical to reduce the effect of g-forces on the pilot, and the first use of a relaxed static stability/fly-by-wire flight control system that helps to make it an agile aircraft.

"The test was done with the VISTA (Variable In-flight Simulation Test Aircraft), a modified version of the F-16D, developed by Lockheed Martin in collaboration with the US Air Force and Calspan, which can simulate the characteristics of other aircraft. The flight took place from Edwards Air Force Base in California.

In June 2021, the NF-16D was renamed VISTA X-62A, when it acquired new VSS (VISTA Simulation System) software that forms the basis of an Autonomous Control System.

Maryland-based Lockheed Martin has announced that it will continue to develop artificial intelligence for the US Air Force in 2023, with the goal of developing autonomously controlled or selectively manned combat drones in which the pilot may not be in the cockpit. on more dangerous missions."

unmanned f16 fighter jet? Don't worry, we can sell cheap and effective Red Apple unmanned fighter jets to the USA.
