We got nothing on YPG other than Sweden and Finland ceasing monetary and arms support. Sweden and Finland cleverly won an extremely smart victory. They managed to separate YPG from PKK and accepted different concessions for "two different" entities. According to the two candidate countries, PKK is a terrorist organization YPG is not but since Turkiye is their "ally" now they won't actively support YPG(even though they don't see them as terrorists) as we have a beef with them. This doesn't mean they won't covertly support YPG. By signing this Turkiye also officially accepted that YPG is different from PKK(or those two countries see them differently and we are ok with it) which is an extremely bad outcome for us. Erdo is tricked again.

It wont stop monetary or arms support, because their is no mechanism in place to stop it. They should have written this agreement on toilet paper then flushed down the nearest toilet.

This level of incompetence is amazing. You could have taken any one of us on this forum and we wouldnt have created this failure.

To make matters worse erdogan crony media is now going to sell it to the Turkish people as a victory and the millions of zombies who cannot critically think for themselves are going to eat it all up.

Honeslty, what is going on? These are people who have spent decades in politics and have all the facilities available to them. They can get the best expertise and no cost is too expensive, how do they keep presenting such failures?

What was the point is speaking out against sweden/finland only for the worlds media to demonise Turkey if the agreement you were going to accept doesnt materially change anything for Turkey?

So we took all the negative press for nothing. Turkey again got shown as the enemy of the west and you accepted an agreement that maintains the same position concerning Turkey.

There is only really two explanations, either they are incompetent or they are treasonous, either option is bad bad news for Turkey. If they are incompetent you need them out of there, running a nation is no joke especially in Turkeys geography. If they are treasonous then your in big trouble, because it means they are not stupid and they know what they are doing.

Summary: There is no detail that was brought up before and not included in the memorandum. It's a pretty satisfying deal on paper. However, the main issue is its concrete implementation. Let's hope it does not resemble the memorandums signed with Russia and the USA before.

Let's add one more point. Sweden and Finland will likely be able to participate in NATO meetings with the status of "observer countries" very soon. However, the process for full NATO membership is quite long and will continue. This can be used as leverage to implement concrete steps.
