The visit of Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias to Ukraine in the midst of the crisis with Russia is of particular importance.
“Greece is always on the side of the Greek expatriates, especially in critical moments”, the Greek Foreign Minister stated on the eve of his visit.
At the beginning of his visit to Ukraine, the Foreign Minister laid a wreath at the monument to the fallen expatriates of Sartan

Today, Mr. Dendias visited the 8th School of Special Learning of the Modern Greek Language in Sartana.
During his visit, he had the opportunity to meet with the teachers, the head of the military-political administration of Sartana and members of the Greek community of the villages of Sartana and Chermalik, according to a relevant post of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on twitter.

In Mariupol, Mr. Dendias visited the City Council and had a fruitful meeting with the city's First Deputy Mayor, M.Kogut, and the Chairman of Mariupol district council, S.Mahsma.
At the end of his visit to Mariupol, a city with a centuries-old Greek presence, he met at the Cultural Centre of the Federation of Greek Communities of Ukraine with representatives of the Greece diaspora & the city’s University administration & Greek Philology faculty members.

In a cordial telephone conversation today, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias informed his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba about his visit to Mariupol, in order to stand by the Greek community and about Greece’s intention to strengthen its Consulate General in the city.

In this context, Mr. Kuleba thanked Greece for its decision not to withdraw the staff of its Embassy in Kiev, according to a relevant post of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on twitter.

Mr. Dendias reiterated that Greece, as a starting point, supports the independence and territorial integrity of all states.

did he cried about Turks there?
It is insane how you manage to change the topic as elegantly as a car crash, repeat the same argument that got debunked several times in previous threads, spam cope and seeth and somehow managing to be so little self aware that you think that’s winning an argument

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Dendias’ statement to Greek journalists, following his contacts in Mariupol and Sartana, Ukraine (Mariupol, 31.01.2022)

I also had the opportunity today to speak by telephone with my friend, my counterpart, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, to whom I reiterated Greece’s firm position. Greece, out of principle, always supports the independence and territorial integrity of all states, in accordance with the principles of International Law and the United Nations Charter. I would like to express the hope that the tension which currently exists will not continue, that the situation will return to calm and de-escalation.

And where do you base this?

Russians are not stupid. The Greek FM chose exactly this time of tensions to visit Ukraine (what a timing) and express support for Ukraines territorial integrity (thats including Donbass and Crimea).

Russians are very, very sensitive. They dont like this.

How many Greeks are there in Mariopul and Ukraine in general?

I have heard that there used to be many Greeks living in Crimea before Stalin cleansed the are after WWII. Odesa sounds pretty similar to Odesos- the old name of Varna, Bulgaria. There used to be many Greeks in our Black Sea region too.

The 91.000 is the number of the Ucrainian census of 2001.
That's why the Ministry remark the although their number is estimated to be much higher by the Federation of Greek communities of Mariupol.
The Greeks in Ucraine claim that they live 250.000 in the whole country and 150.000 in Mariopul.

The 100k number in Mariupol came from Dendias.....

I am copying from the source you gave:
"The next Ukrainian census was planned to be held in 2020. But in April 2020 Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov confirmed that in 2020 there will not be a census in Ukraine and probably also not in 2021 because the census was considered" an expensive pleasure. "Nemchinov stated in December 2020 that the next Ukrainian census was planned for 2023."
Nikos Dendias who just found these numbers when the only detailed population census that has been done in Ukraine is that of 2001?
