Terrible situation, it's reported the new strain can reinfect those who had Covid before.
Actually a strict lockdown for maximum 2 months can kill any pandemic, but the problem is not every place can impose strict lockdown. A top Chinese doctor said if the whole world can place a strict lockdown together for 2 months like China did, the covid would be long gone on this planet. Wuhan was locked down strictly for 2 months early last year and the virus was wiped out completely, the virus never makes it back to the city ever since.

It would have just been better if PRC:

A) Didn't develop and retain some foul eating habits and hygiene regarding these
B) Develops common sense not to have high tier virus labs smack bang in high density population zones
C) Develop a far more transparent and honest system of accountability regarding early outbreak reporting and for post-outbreak analysis
D) Not be utterly hypocritical in locking down citizenry internally (after the situation developed to degree needing it) yet allowing and promoting same citizenry's outside travel at the same time

All would have saved millions of lives today and nipped things far earlier in the bud.

But since PRC has followed (and doubled down upon) winnie the pooh style brittle, degenerate jerkwad mode on something this serious....the commensurate consequences will now come to bear...over extended time.

Sorry but we follow WHO and science, not Trump and western politicians. WHO should go to US to search for the origin of the virus.
