1. Centurion tank based vehicles
Nagmashot (1984)
Heavy armor personnel carrier converted from Centurion tank. Since it lacked rear hatch it did not suit the infantry well and was transferred to engineer units. Armor protection was also not sufficient.
Nagmahon (1987)
Modified Nagmashot for engineer unit needs. Heavy armor skirts and anti-mine protection, armor shields on top. Can use mine rollers and other engineering equipment.
Nagmashot Kasman (late 1990-es)
Nagmahon with armored pillbox and ERA. Special anti-intifada vehicle.
Nakpadon (mid 1990-es)
Super heavy armored Nagmahon built for patrolling most dangerous areas in Lebanon.
PUMA (1988)
Specially built engineering vehicle on Centurion base. 900 hp engine (instead of 750) for improved mobility. These vehicles were built in relatively large numbers compare all vehicles above.
2. T-55 tank based vehicle
Achzarit (1988)
Specially built heavy armored personnel vehicle on basis of captured T-55. 850 hp engine located at left rear side. It allowed the installation of rear hatch for infantry. Was built in quite large numbers. 3 crew members + 7 passengers.
3. Merkava tank based vehicles
Namer (2008)
New heavy APC. Although it is based on Merkava it is not converted from old tanks but built from scratch. 1200 hp engine. 3 crew members + 8 passengers.
Ofek (2020)
Armored command vehicle converted from old Merkava Mk3 tanks.
