You guys don‘t know what the Police finds here from time to time. Dude had a RPG, few AT mines and Grenades in his basement.
We dont need US conditions in Turkiye. Now obviously the solution is more guns, according to some fellow members.
You should be able to distinguish between civilian licensed guns and illegally owned military assault weapons. There is a clear difference. More derfensive guns versus offensive guns so that innocent people are not defenceless when offenders want to attack. Now obviously the solution is more guns, according to some fellow members.

As far as I can see, the situation is way worse now. Criminals with political and law enforcement connections practically run the streets. When detained, they are released on probation. No one respects the law, or is afraid of it. Petty crime is rampant. Now obviously the solution is more guns, according to some fellow members.
Any proof to your words? As far as I can see, the situation is way worse now. Criminals with political and law enforcement connections practically run the streets. When detained, they are released on probation. No one respects the law, or is afraid of it. Petty crime is rampant.
We not only need guns, but we need mass incarcerations, corporal punishment, castle doctrine and stand your ground laws.
Did they also sanction the other stuff Glock sells?Gaston Glock dies at age 94.
Let's see how Glock brand does after him.
Reminder: Glock brand guns are not sold in Türkiye due to sanctions imposed by Austria.
Gaston Glock: Inventor of popular handgun dies aged 94
The Glock has been the weapon of choice for armed forces, gun owners and criminals around the world.www.bbc.com
Probably, I am not sure. But thanks to them Canik rose up into the top 3 in the world of guns.Did they also sanction the other stuff Glock sells?
They come from the US and not from Austria.MKEK does not import massively Glock. MKEK deliberately keep imports limited. Glock comes to Türkiye twice a year. Those that arrive are sold immediately. On the other hand Currently, there are not many Turkish gun enthusiasts who can give 2-3 thousand dollars.
For instance I would not pay 2-3k USD to Glock , while Canik and Stoeger are being sold max 500usd in MKEK.
Fuck 4000usd
What is with trying to find the unfortunate. You went back to the beginning of the timeline of Canik's rise to power. When the decocker double action model of Canik emerged American reviewers wanted to find a downside and complained about the decocker. They claimed that it can potentially be dischaged accidentally but no one could prove that it actually will. They did all the torture tests but they could not get it to do accidental discharge. In the following years Canik went from ambidexterous decocker to one side decocker but nobody in the defence business would actually buy a pistol like this. It's only upside is the second strike capability which comes into play if the bullet does not go off the first time and with the second pull of the trigger it can go off if the bullet is not totally dead. This saves the need to rack the slide when there is failure to fire. I think this has a very low probabillity to be usefull while it introduces complexity to the operation of the pistol as it has several operation modes to remember for the user.Unfortunately Canik TP9 DA (Double Action) hasn't been popular. İndeed it was the copy of Walther P99AS(Anti-Stress Trigger)
. İt has Manual decocker which is unusual for striker fired pistols.
Loaded and Decocked carry is safer.
When the pistol is cocked , the trigger weight is very light and pulling way is short.
When you decock Striker mechanism , the trigger is heavy and long to pull. You could pull trigger multiple times. Other strikerfired pistols are need to be slide pulled. No repeating trigger.
Glocks have bad accuracy thanks to trigger system.
Glock in other countries is like canik in Turkey.Just a useful good gun,not a luxury Collection.MKEK does not import massively Glock. MKEK deliberately keep imports limited.
