The IDAF possesses 6 of these helicopters and is expecting the delivery of 8 more Frasca H225M Simulator for Indonesia Frasca International, June 14, 2023 - Indonesia’s aerospace industry is growing, and Frasca, a FlightSafety International company, is playing a key role in supporting its development with the recent completion of Factory Acceptance of a Level D H225M Helicopter Full Flight Simulator (FFS) as part of PT Dirgantara Indonesia’s (PTDI) collaboration with Frasca to deliver a Level D H225M Helicopter FFS to the Indonesian Air Force (IDAF). As one of the leading players in the Indonesian aerospace sector, PTDI, and Frasca share a common mission in developing strategic alliances with other world class aerospace industries while delivering competitive products and services. The simulator is a type-specific replica of the H225M helicopter and is designed to match the specific configuration of the aircraft – including SAR, NVG and other training tasks as required by the Indonesian Air Force (IDAF) – while providing pilots with the highest level of skill and proficiency training. selain pelaksanaan upgrade dan Overhaul/repair pada pesawat SU-27/30, Hawk 100/200 dan F-16 juga terdapat pembelian Alutsista berupa Pesawat baru seperti pesawat Dassault Rafale dan F-15 Super Eagle. Namun berdasarkan kontrak, dinyatakan bahwa kedatangan 3 pesawat Rafale pertama baru akan terlaksana pada bulan Januari 2026, sementara itu kontrak pesawat F-15 masih dalam tahap pembahasan Letter of Offer and Acceptance oleh Pemerintah Amerikas Serikat (pembelian pesawat F-15 dengan skema FMS (Foreign Military Sales).

Adapun alasan Kemhan RI melaksanakan pengadaan pesawat Mirage 2000-5 Ex Qatari Air Force adalah karena Indonesia membutuhkan Alutsista pesawat tempur yang bisa melaksanakan delivery secara cepat untuk menutupi penurunan kesiapan tempur TNI AU yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya pesawat tempur TNI AU yang habis masa pakainya, banyaknya pesawat yang akan melaksanakan upgrade, overhaul/repair dan masih lamanya delivery pesawat pesanan pengadaan baru. Dengan kondisi keadaan di atas dinilai pembelian pesawat Mirage 2000-5 Ex Qatari Air Force merupakan langkah yang tepat guna memenuhi kesiapan pesawat tempur TNI AU. (Biro Humas Setjen Kemhan)
