J600T (hence the name) is the licensed production from 1990s. Khan is an independent product.

*Gotta correct myself
Khan (Bora), Kasırga and J600T was made in cooperation with China.
Only J600T was bound to a license (however i doubt this since i recall back then the Army had forced an independent rights on the missile and components it uses, to adopt western electronics and command structure), Tiger (Kasırga) and Khan (Bora) is not bound to a license and does not rely on China to continue production or to export, upgrade or modify. Latter two was completed within ToT & Know-how transfer.

Possibly neither of the missiles use Chinese electronics but western-NATO or Turkish alternatives.
Bora Is very similar to the M20 .

Just like Indonesian C705 RE-project?
More like T129 ATAK project, IP and license rights were fully owned both in tiger and khan.

Told it few posts ago actually, Chinese has provided the ToT and Know-how, later Roketsan moved on their own.

How many kasirga and Bora must be acquired as part of ToT agreement, Chinese and South Korean usually sold the technical know how of items they put on sale as long as you bought them in bulk

It took them years to showcase the missiles even after they have been introduced to the inventory. We would be very lucky to know the exact numbers but it should be many.
They have given full autonomy for missiles to compete against them. Have they seen it coming? I am not sure.

Chinese has that kind of practices since long time ago, they would sold everything they deemed can recoup their own development costs even with possibility to take their own possible Sales deals. I am remember they sold a lot of experience, production line and technology to Iran so Iran can developed their own AShM, ballistic Missiles and even radar system, but before that the Iranian must bought the Chinese system first in one bulk order.

This practice stems from their own urgent need to gather more funding for their next research program during their difficult era

Everybody does that, not just Chinese. Nobody gives ToT for a whole system at no-cost merely for a friendship, and not anyone gives as much as to make the receiver autonomous.

You either share the development costs and co-fund project to expect know-how and ToT as much as you have paid or pay for ToT directly for the packages related with the development and acquire assistance, consultancy whatever needed. Again in the latter case coverage of ToT is as much as you are willing to pay.
